    I remember it. It was indeed the Jets, vs. Miami. I don't remember it being a disaster, but it was certainly weird. And the weirdness was to be expected, since it was such a radical difference.

    OK 96 postseason Fielder vs 18 postseason Pearce Fielder 14 games 59 PA 308/390/519 909 OPS 3 HR 14 RBI Pearce 13 games 47 PA 289/426/658 1083 OPS 4 HR 11 RBI Now add Eovaldi to Pearce. I doubt many teams, if any, had a better pair of acquisitions in terms of postseason performance.

    One thing you have to say for DD, he did pretty good with those 2018 deadline trades. How many teams have made deadline acquisitions that have helped win a ring as much as Eovaldi and Pearce? Before you say "but he shouldn't have re-signed them", at least consider that question.
