  1. Please don't get rained out. This would be a HUGE win, to show continued dominance over the Yankees and take the series and first place back. Let's go Sox, let's do this.
  2. Alternatively, if anyone owns any authentic jerseys they don't want, PM me, even if they're worn, as long as you don't smoke. I'd prefer current players though, or at least iconic ones from 2004 or something like that.
  3. Yes, if you don't want to post it here you can PM me. I will probably do eBay if I can't find anything better, but I was lazy and didn't feel like setting up a PayPal account just now.
  4. Oh, I have loads of player t-shirts. Almost everyone on the team. Unfortunately for some of the harder to find players you must go to the Yawkey Way Store where they're more money, but still. I actually prefer the unbuttoned jersey with player shirt underneath look. Especially when it gets a little colder....and I anticipate lots of October baseball this year. But you just can't beat the ~$30 for the "authentics" they make in China or wherever. Some are pure trash but when you get one that's good quality, it's unbeatable.
  5. This was the hardest attempt at trolling I have ever seen and yet it somehow failed so terribly.
  6. Just curious. Sorry if this thread is against the rules, feel free to delete. I am a damn poor college student and I can't afford the $200 for an authentic anymore. I already have a real authentic home Pedroia, but I want a Gonzalez, Youk, Crawford, or Ellsbury jersey. Probably a grey, navy, or a red would be nice to add to the collection. Anyone know sites with good quality Red Sox jerseys?
  7. I am always a pessimist and that includes sports, but my pessimism with the Red Sox is at a season high right now. Please Red Sox...please win this...
  8. To say I am nervous for this game and series would be a huge understatement...let's go Sox
  9. Bedard didn't look too bad, I like what I saw. Very annoying series though. It bothers me that we couldn't really outplay the Guardians. At this point I would be pleasantly surprised with 2/3 wins from the Yankees this weekend. On a side OT note, love the babby picture in your avatar, BigPapiEnFuego.
  10. I have wanted Dick Harden for a long time. Okay, that's the last time I will do that, I swear. I have tickets to the game on the 3rd, I hope I get to see him.
  11. Any Cowboys fans here?
  12. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/archive/1/19/20070204194727!Rangers.png Glooooooooory, glory..... Just messing with you guys, best of luck this season. Better luck to us.
  13. Watching this is like pulling teeth. Ugh.
  14. Basically Jeter confirms A-Rod is a complete bitch. Good job Jeets.
  15. I'm not very good with the young'uns. Where is this guy projected to be someday, offensively? If he continues to progress, that is.
  16. I hate Vasquez and I think he really blows, but those were two pretty nice pitches.
  17. I must have not read that at all or been VERY tired, somewhere I read someone asking the size. No, it doesn't have a player on it.
  18. I've tried Craigslist, but nobody from the Boston area who was interested could understand that I'm not from there and would need to mail it. It's a large.
  19. Don't think I even have words that adequately express this situation.
  20. Hey there guys. First off, I'll admit, I'm a huuuuuge Canadiens fan. One of my relatives forgot this at some point, and sent me a yellow Bruins bear head alternate jersey. Size L, made by Koho. I know it may not be the most popular jersey among Bruins fans, but if one of you guys wants it, I wouldn't sell it for much at all, or we could trade or something. If someone's interested, just let me know.
  21. He's shaky at times but still a very quality pitcher. Very good. He does have a lot of "pull all your hair out" starts though, I will admit to that.
  22. It's driving me crazy how some people here in the northern NJ suburbs of New York are portraying this guy. Way I see it, he is not the greatest owner of all time. Maybe up there, but I can't really say I feel like he is for sure. He is probably the most evolutionary owner of all time, but that's it. I also can't watch TV or listen to sports radio today apparently. I was looking to hear about other stuff, but all the shows are going entirely to him today. Oh well. I've heard he was a very charitable and friendly guy.
  23. I don't even have an excuse. I kind of just stopped coming as often. But I'm back now, don't worry. But in reality, since I'm leaving for college soon anyway, I didn't bother spending the money to get MLB Extra Innings this year, so I haven't been able to watch as many Sox games, so I don't really come for the Game Day Threads anymore since I can't really say anything about whats going on. But I think I'll try and start watching them on those terrible feeds online now. My most recent trip to Fenway for the 4th of July most recently inspired me to return fully.
  24. I go to Fenway around 10 times a year and Yankee Stadium maybe about 3. I have been to both twice this month actually, and I will take Fenway over Yankee Stadium every time. There's too much ******** in Yankee Stadium, it's ridiculous. It's like people have been saying, it's really nice and everything, but seriously, if you want to go to a real nice restaurant and sit in a leatherbound chair, then watch at home. Fenway is about atmosphere, history, all of that.
  25. Well...not losing would be kind of nice.
