This is spot on. I personally think the Sox should go slightly above Pence money for Ellsbury, since he is a better ballplayer but has a questionable health track record. The problem is that some team is going to offer him middle-of-the-order superstar money and the Sox won't match that.
That's why i miss ORS. No one could put people (including me) in their place like he could. He also tore Jacko a new ******* on a daily basis. Good times.
Fred, the Carpenter pitching for the Braves and the one we had last year (Chris Carpenter, no relation to the accomplished STL pitcher) are not the same guy. Also, the name of the Braves closer is Craig Kimbrel.
