    Not true. I spent a significant amount of time in Chicago the past three years, and you'd be surprised how many people wish a slow, painful death on Hawk. A lot of Yankee fans i know are also not very fond of their hometown duo. "C YAAAAA, AN A-BOMB FOR A-RODDDDDDD" gets tired quickly.

    How is it a smart move? Kershaw had never pitched on short rest before, and you never know how he'll react to it the rest of the PO's. Also, had he gone with Nolasco last night and won, he'd have Kershaw-Greinke lined up for games 1-2 in the ALCS. It was an unnecessary gamble.

    I think you took it the wrong way. When i said why bother i meant that it isn't worth it. He's seeking attention and people are giving it to him in droves. You were justified in trying to get people to lay off him because it was quickly taking over the thread, and it wasn't something worth banning him or anything. What i'm trying to say is that, while some (all?) of his comments piss people off, that's the whole reason he makes them. Sorry if that came out wrong.

The hilarious part is that some of the people he was referring to probably have a bigger bank account and a similar education to him. But he just has to be a dildo about it.
