  1. Sound logic here. Kudos.
  2. The White Sox are quoted as saying it would take a "franchise-altering" return to part with Sale.
  3. Larry Lucchino has publicly stated he was the driving force behind the Crawford signing. This cannot be stressed enough.
  4. Man, the Mariners are doing some work.
  5. No, that's the way a700 sees it. Tell us how you really feel.
  6. Ah, the voice of reason. It's highly ironic how some here love to whine about whining. LOL.
  7. How did you reach that conclusion? LOL.
  8. I think it's more likely than you think, given Drew's lack of choices regarding his destination. But we'll see.
  9. I think he keeps the OBP around .350, and with his power, a .450 SLG% is not out of the question. Look at Adam Dunn's career arc. He has several seasons of very much below average BABIP, but plus .850 OPS's. Now that doesn't mean Napoli equals an in-his prime Dunn, but they are similar hitters, and Napoli actually makes more consistent contact.
  10. I think they wouldn't straight platoon him, but they could make compromises to find WMB playing time.
  11. I think they could get enough AB's for WMB by shuffling him between 3B/1B when XB or Napoli need a day off, and sitting Drew against tough lefties, moving XB to SS.
  12. It doesn't matter how much sense what we say makes Bellhorn, a700 will argue otherwise so he can whine about Theo. It's his schtick.
  13. This would be a good idea if Ichiro wasn't arguably the worst hitter in baseball last year. He can't hit anyone anymore.
  14. Not necessarily. As i've posted before, three true outcome players tend to have massive BABIP swings because of how little contact they make but their core skills (OBP, SLG%) tend to remain in very similar range, and only BA really fluctuating. @ win red sox
  15. Lol! The Phillies cannot give Papelbon away. Too bad for the Rivera Highway Rider.
  16. Some people just don't understand this extremely simple concept. He could have fielded some semi-competitive teams, but then organizational strength would have remained as low as it is right now for the long term.
  17. Even if he does fall apart, they'll probably put a decent enough platoon option right behind him.
  18. Yeah Drew's probably coming back to the Sox.
  19. a700 is clearly not an adult.
  20. You don't seem calm. And just like you will "Raise anything you need to", i will interject wherever i want to, mr. censor hypocrite. I'm telling you to quit while you're ahead. You'd do well to heed my advice, but i don't really care either way. Back to baseball.
  21. Also, you do do the incessant needling thing mind you. The whole "i'm wealthy because i'm usually online" s*** got old the first time, and you made like 10 posts about it. I have a laptop, tablet, and phone, and they all have internet. Let it go.
  22. Lucchino has publicly admitted that both Lackey and Crawford were signings that he orchestrated. Epstein didn't "buy into it". He was forced into it, just like BC was forced into hiring Valentine, and we all know how that turned out. It's clear who's the problem.
  23. Don't raise it at all. And calm down, since you are the one who's clearly wrong here. Let it go. You are the adult here, so act like it.
  24. Stop needling people incessantly over s*** that happened months ago.
