    Regardless of Cody Rose's numbers or splits, I like him because he does something somebody like Agonz, with great numbers, could never do for us- Ross comes up with clutch hits in key moments. He strives under pressure.

    I think so many people thinking Farrell would be a saviour here that it makes it an unattractive place for him to manage. Why would he want to step into a mess like this with unrealistic expectations in a media saturated market?

    1. I think Valentine will not be back next year. 2. I would like to see him come back because I feel he got as crappy treatment as possible from media, front office and most of all the players. 3. A little part of me would like to see him fired asap, can you imagine some of the dirt he will spill about what really goes on in that organization.

    I think Aviles has been adequate, certainly we could find someone better, but my eyes do not see him butchering defensive plays or doing a bad job. If nobody comes in from the outside Pedro would be my first choice at ss and Aviles as an infield utility guy.

    Yes we are loosing with Aviles at short- and when Iggy has played short, we have lost. We are also loosing with Pedroia at 2nd. All irrelevant, its the starting pitching.

    Maybe a small part, but I'd say the historically weak starting rotation that usually has us behind in the first inning is the real issue.

    The entire pen has been made into garbage by over pitching, and its because of the terrible starting pitching, not V's doing.

    I wonder if Bailey will mingle with different players and try to casually end up on Oakland's bench, see if anyone notices.

    A volcano could erupt in the middle of Fenway Jerry Remy could step down and Dice K could take his place in the booth. Wild rabid ferrets could run riot on the team plane. Ownership could move the team to Buffalo, NY ........ see there are still a few bad things that have not happened yet this year.
