  1. Let's. Go. Dodgers. Bet they wish they were playing tonight, but LA sports fans need a day off to watch the Rams on MNF
  2. I will say this, Kimmi, I'm more interested in this than football right now, which is rare. Not to say I've watched much of either this week, though.
  3. Best of 3. I trust the best team in the league until proven otherwise.
  4. How about Philly? I always thought they were the worst
  5. They very well could be just as obnoxious. I'm just used to it I guess, and tolerate it just like one should tolerate any other lifestyle choice that is different from our own, since it is what I've been exposed to for my whole life. And, it's not like Boston sports fans are model citizens either.
  6. See, I have not been exposed to obnoxious Yankees fans. Well, that may not be true, but growing up in CT, some of your closest friends will likely root for your rival team. The Boston and New York divide is pretty even here, whether it be Red Sox-Yankees, Patriots-Giants, Celtics-Knicks (not so much recently) or any other sport. My point is that my two best friends are both Yankees fans, and since the Red Sox haven't butt heads in big situations (2018 excluded) with the Yankees that often during my lifespan, I have nothing against the team or their fans.
  7. AJ Pollock went to my HS and I played for the same coach he had. Also, as a 22 year old Red Sox fan, I have more reasons to hate the Rays then the Yankees
  8. 2 more to go!!!!!! Let's go boys finish the job so I can take some selfies with the WS trophy this winter!!!
  9. Great start boys! Keep it going
  10. Well, maybe it's not the first time, but it's the first time in awhile
  11. Yeah. For once, I'm with you on this
  12. Ha! You said you weren't coming back until winter meetings. What a clown
  13. I don't know much about either, but Sammy Davis, Jr. had his name on the golf tournament that I've volunteered at for a decade, so here in CT, most people would probably disagree with that
  14. As long as they win the series, I don't think their fans care that much
  15. Dodgers in 5
  16. Correct. It's impossible to make a comparison like that
  17. You also can't keep a team that talented down for too long. IMO, the Wild Card and NLDS series were more dangerous for them for that reason. They played up to their standard, but they would have lost to the Braves in 5 if it was a shorter series
  18. Can't believe I hadn't heard of him. I'm in tune (pun intended) with that era of music
  19. Tonight will be key, as it is a bullpen game for the Dodgers. If they win tonight, the series is over, but it also reinforces that they are back to playing like the best team in baseball after Games 1, 2, and 4 of the NLCS
  20. It's not a Talksox gamethread without d-money. Love reading your commentary, even though I'm rooting for the Dodgers
  21. Let's go Dodgers. All in
  22. That 19-8 game was on my 6th birthday. Good thing I don't remember it
  23. Fenway's transformation into a polling place begins today. I hope this sticks around for the future. I would LOVE to vote at Fenway. What if we were in the World Series at the same time? Sadly, I don't think I will be living within city limits, at least not when I first move up there.
  24. Or Ron Roenicke!
  25. But if the Astros win than that means the Red Sox aren't special anymore!!!!
