  1. Yup, just do not let hm pitch for a while, he is killing this team.
  2. Probably a AAAA profile is what he is in the ALE. As I said since day one, He was a mediocre pitcher in the ALC but in the ALE, He will be destroyed.
  3. it's pitching coach's fault, don't you get it? haha Seriously, find a way to get rid of this garbage.
  4. Porcello is a joke. A bad joke indeed.
  5. on game at a time.... Go Sox!
  6. I would start rebuilding the FO. Then everything else. Once again in the last place is inexcusable, so BC has to go.
  7. That's the thing. The owner hires you to command/lead/implement whatever strategy/process that has made you successful as a GM regardless the industry. This is what/why you are paid to do. Said that, the process has practically zero importance when most of your decisions have not worked out, not for 1 but 3 of the last 4 years with plenty of resources. Results are what keep you in that chair. BL. Processes are meaningless without results.
  8. You better don't f*** this up, Masterson.
  9. Hey Spud, here the JBJ's throw analysis you were talking about. http://nesn.com/2015/06/jackie-bradley-jr-s-rocket-arm-analyzed-with-statcast-metrics-video/
  10. I think where is the issue, SK. No one here is disputing that Ben made this moves without a plan or a case behind each move. Of course he and his colleagues had their reasons to do, whatever they tried to do. In fact some like you agreed with most of their decisions, didn't you? And it is fine. On the other hand, other fans, experts, etc. like me, thought that this strategy was a bad idea since day 1, and we as Ben, rest our cases as well. In the end, the entire strategy has not worked out for whatever reason. His responsibility does not end once the the product is on the field, No sir. His responsibility depends on the result of the product, since he is the GM, regardless the strategy he decided to use.
  11. Thanks man. Well, I try to do my best, sometimes I do it well and sometimes not that much, but most of times I think you guys understand me
  12. 2013 was great and I won't take away credit to anyone here, but when you are in the middle of 3 bad seasons, not mediocre, very horrible with one of the highest payrolls in baseball, it suggests me that 2013 was kind of a fluke year (stars aligned or whatever you want to call it) than anything else. As I said, thanks for 2013, it was great but we have to move on.
  13. ... and LOB%? 79%.
  14. Wonder if Keuchel is for real going forward. His GB% and BABIP are ridiculous, 64%, 0.229.
  15. Well, all around the globe it is the language of business, that is for sure.
  16. Correct. They have made a lot moves that these days look horrible. Probably the Moncada deal will work out, but who knows... We are paying prime money for unproven young kids (Although Castillo is not a kid in my book) who are supposedly to have prime talent. Castillo is not remotely near to Puig thus far and some compared them.
  17. Yeah!, and I really appreciate it, Spud. When I signed on this board a couple of years ago, my intention was to write, debate and learn more about my beloved baseball team, and at the same time practice my english a little bit, since nobody here speaks it. As I said, It is hard to practice it around here (Mexico) and a foreign language which is not practiced goes directly to the oblivion, so this board has helped me not only to practice it but learn some slangs (like "s***ing the bed") that you guys use which btw I find really funny LOL!.
  18. I remember that ST when JBJ had a big time and all the media and fans loved him. I was in that wagon, who wasn't?. I know that ST means s***, but I remember that he showed great discipline, arm, defense, fundamentals, running skills and the only doubt at the time was if he could develop his power and become a five tool player. It is crazy how the times have changed for him. I still have faith on him, hopefully he can come back.
  19. Thanks Spud for the correction.
  20. Seems like you were right, this offense was going to start hitting since the talent is there, eventually. On the other hand this pitching staff is killing this team big time.
  21. Well, I said that Porcello was a mistake since day one as well. They not only traded him but threw him 80 M without a single pitch in red sox uniforme man, 80 f***ing M for this garbage. I'm done with their incompetence, the culture of losing has to end already. For this reason and a lot of other bad decisions that have taxed us in the last 3/4 years, this FO has go. Let them take their bad luck and enigmas somewhere else.
  22. We can split the numbers all day long, by player, month, weeks, etc., thing is that all those bad performances (included Buch, ERod) already taxed us to the point that this pitching staff is one of the worst in baseball these days, and unfortunately as some us predicted, it seems to be already too late to save this s***** season.
  23. Thing is that it is not a good enough/mediocre rotation or whatever you want to call it since day 1. This is a collection of very bad pitchers. Some of us have rest our cases to support this since day 1. We were told that our analysis were death wromg. Time is giving us reason, unfortunately. If you thought that this was a good enough/mediocre pitching staff, that's up to you sk, but I did not drink that kool-aid at all, this is a horrible pitching staff since day 1. This is probably the worst pitching staff not only of the last 10 Y but of the history of this franchise.
  24. It is not mediocre, it is one of the worst in all baseball.
