    If he earns 5+ Rs in his next 2 starts, I will not be surprised if he hits the DL or goes to the BP or is DFAed, hopefully he keeps at least what he showed in his last start.

    Probably Buch will be the next head, IDK. On the bright side his last start wasn't that bad. Mediocre but not catastrophic, considering what we've seen. I need to see him one more time, probably a couple more. If he shits the bed, he has to go.

    I had little hopes in Masterson, unfortunately He is done. He has to go to the pen or something. We do not need to wait until June to figure it out. He is killing this team.

    Sometimes he will scape from the BABIP death, sometimes not like yesterday (could have been worse). In the end IMO he will be around 4-4.5 ERA unless he improves his K/9.

    I like Kazmir. He has a great K/9, and is capable to post WARs above 3+ and ERAs around 3.5. After his stay in LAA he has settled down in OAK; sure, he is not what he used to be TB anymore but IMO he could keep his numbers and be a solid No. 2-3 in Boston in the next 2 years.

    Porcello has an OPS against the current A's lineup around 692, on the other hand Kazmir around 660 in the last 2 years. Should be a close/low Rs game. I wouldn't bet in this game.

    back to topic. Porcello pitches today. If he makes another solid start he could be for the first time under 4 this season, what are the odds?

    Well, Other than the redskins (and not that much) I do not follow that much NFL or the Patriots, so I do not know exactly what you are talking about LOL!

    LOL, we are not claiming to hold the true or be right, we are just making our opinions, just as you did... and BTW based on what we see. Nothing more, nothing less Bell.

    Hopefully we still in the run by the trade deadline, and catch that opportunity, otherwise this could turn into another disaster.

    If we keep this pace, the pitching coach won't likely be answer. As I said our problem is way beyond a pitching coach. The talent put on the field regarding pitching was overvalued by our FO IMO. There's the problem if you ask me.

    LOL! The pitching coach is the least of our problems. IMO it was a scapegoat. Our real problem is how this team was assembled. When I realized that we were going to go like this, I said oh boy, this could turn into the worst mess regarding pitching, say in the last 10 Y, probably in RS history. At time saying this was like a blasphemy and I was called pessimist, unrealistic, whiner, etc. There's still time, hopefully they have a plan B or C.

    I think we agree more than disagree. Basically you would have made a couple of moves at the front-end of the rotation. Do not take me wrong, I liked the "innings eaters young enough to dream more of, and with a good defense..." approach BUT once signed the true No 1 & 2.
