  1. Yeah it was close but fortunately I won.
  2. becareful with Arizona, just saying.
  3. Yes! It's great when my sox win but mostly when they make me win a bet. Hopefully some of you took my recommendation, the line was pretty good.
  4. Detroit collapsed just like that.
  5. Cmon Yton, It was about Samardzija. I just wanted to point out that Samardzija is in that group haha.
  6. what happened with deGrom? s***, he is in my fantasy team.
  7. Samardzija is in the group of pitchers lead by Porcello I do not like.
  8. Yeah, actually I had thought in a scenario like that but keeping Cespedes. Using Porcello's and Castillo's money I would have resigned Lester. All these scenarios were talked in the offseason. Unfortunately Ben's plan was a mistake since day 1 and some of us were very vocal about that.
  9. Boston +120, I like our chances.
  10. Kelly has been solid in his last 2 starts. We are going to win this one.
  11. Honestly I prefer Ells (when healthy) over both Hanley and Castillo, I probably would have used what we paid for them to keep Ells, IDK. The thing with Ells is that he just can not stay healthy.
  12. It's called collateral damage. This is why you have to build a solid rotation. Our rotation taxed their incompetence to our BP. Taz should emit an invoice to our rotation. Hopefully they didn't damage his arm.
  13. Well, I can't complain. This year has gone very well for me.
  14. My bold prediction is that JBJ becomes a better player than Ells and way more durable.
  15. some still say that any reliever can close.
  16. mmmm nope. why the question? in their own roles Ellsbury is by far more talented and it is not debatable.
  17. yup, but this is just a preamble... unfortunately. My bold prediction is that DD is going to get rid of him somehow. Send him to PIT, probably out there he is going to be a decent mid rotation guy.
  18. We are paying a similar AVV salary to Porcello and the difference in talent is from earth to the moon.
  19. Those plans showed to Ben the exit door.
  20. 2012 needs to be thrown because of the BV factor? Really? LOL! Also, the 2014 and 2015 plans were solid and more fluke? LOL! This is why Ben is very gone. Regarding 2015 I said that the rotation was going to be the worst of the last ten years. It wasn't but it was close.
  21. Yup, it's not hard to understand.
  22. A lot of reports said that Ben was asking for him at the time, I clearly remember.
  23. I remember that Ben was even trying to bring back Papelbon since our closers were pathetic. It was so great to see Taz and Koji in 2013, it was an automatic win when we were winning after the 7th.
  24. Letting walk Cespedes was a huge mistake, I was very vocal at the time, even unknowing that Porcello was involved for his trade. Then I realized that Porcello was the trade chip and I said OMG Ben. The rest is history. Ben is no longer here.
  25. Koji was not even the closer when the season started and no one in this planet saw his performance coming, not even the most optimistic. David Ortiz posted a ridiculous OPS specially in PO. Lackey came from hell. Lester was a stud specially in PO. Etc. I mean, everything was so perfect. If you try to do it again 1 million times in the middle of 3 disaster years, the probabilities are close to zero since those years will suggest you that a good plan is not in effect... reason why I call it fluke.
