    I put a lot of metrics and intangibles over and over again in order to show you why this was a horrible rotation and a bad strategy from day one. For example, you said that Porcello was a No. 2, in what planet? (you were the only one believing this based on a bad diagnosis)... and he is not even close. Some of us said that he was a No.4-5 given his career numbers. I also said that he was going to be destroyed in fenway (which was blasphemy at the time), and is actually happening. It's good to be optimistic and all Kim, but if you want to solve a problem, first you have to accept where the problem is, otherwise the problem will be there over and over and over again, like in this team . You keep saying that the strategy and plan was/is ok. You keep saying that Porcello is still a good idea. etc. It is not. Hopefully this team take a new direction and strategy. That Kim, is the main problem in this team in recent years.

    I suggested few years ago a guy like Friedman. I'm pretty sure that out there are several candidates who can run this team successfully.

    Then what? This is what JH and his crew have to work out already. As I said, they need to rebuild the FO first (whatever that means), and then execute the new strategy and direction for the short/mid/long term.

    This is a great franchise. Great fan base. Great history. Great ball park. Great city. Plenty of resources. Unfortunately this team is run very poorly. We have all to at least be competitive every year. Aside 2013 which at this point seems to me like a fluke year than anything else, this team has been run very bad in recent years. All I ask is a competitive team. How worse can it go with a different strategy and direction? we are one of the worst teams in baseball in recent years, asaide 2013.

    Kluber and Carrasco are a pipe dream and if so, they are going to cost a haul. I do not see the Guardians trading their best pitchers, why would they do that?

    Theo left a mess. Ben is a mess. We need to move on. Again, we need a new direction and strategy. This franchise and fan base does not deserve this kind of incompetence. Get someone like Friedman.

    Nice cherry picking. He is a 3.31 xFIP, 3.29 SIERA, 10.3 K/9, 3.7 ERA. He is a very good pitcher and his contract is a bargain, given his profile and actual performance. Funny thing is that you were all-in for Shields and you were even willing to give him 100 M, and suddenly he is a bad idea. You are a sea of contradictions.

    Exactly. He is still a very good pitcher and is not costly.

    Seriously, do you think that we are going to trade a young ace? Really? And if so, at what cost?. I do not see that happening. Of course I would like a rotation of young top talent, but again, we are 10 light years from there. Listen, I would sign two solid, durable and proven pitchers, like Lester and Shields. Then I would try to sign another solid No. 3 like Buehrle. The 4-7 would come from the farm/trades/drafts/cheap FA.
