  1. Why not moving him to first?
  2. Totally agree. Now the question is, which arms would be the right for us?
  3. It was a terrible move all around. Basically we ate most of his bad years and when he finally seemed healthy, we traded him. Unbelievable! Not sure if this is the worst trade ever, but it should be considered as one of the worst. You do not give up a No 2-3 for junk.
  4. This is why you are a maricón which btw in this case is not meant to be faggot although IDK if you are.
  5. I like their pitching lead by Lester but I do not think they have enough offense to make it but you never know. They have been better this year but IMO STL is still 2 steps a head them in the coming future. IMO they will compete for a WC spot in the coming future with NYM, PIT, SFG, and someone else at best. Said that I think Theo learned some lessons after the mess he left here, but saying that he is a genius is a bit precipitate, you still need to see the results which in the end are what really matters.
  6. Regarding the Poll, the answer is yes, when it is spent wisely. LAD have money and recently hired a genius in Andrew Friedman. They will be contenders every year in the coming future. On the other hand when you have money but it is run by orangutans the results talk by itself. Look at the Phillies and Boston.
  7. We used to have this kind of format competition in our soccer league. The WC match was called "repechaje" or "repezca" and after that game, the PO games called "la liguilla" or "la fiesta grande" started. These days "el repechaje" is not played anymore since most of the fans did not like it so it was eliminated.
  8. Let me put it this way. The postseason start with the WC match which btw I do not like it. The POs? with the divisional series.
  9. Probably ERod won't be an ace or even a No. 2, but if he becomes a solid No. 3, we shall be very happy.
  10. I think it is better way to see it. Even with a WC spot, you are not in POs, you still need to win that game.
  11. I think around the second week of September you have the serious contender teams.
  12. Yup, no one want expensive garbage.
  13. Not sure about Holt but I would have added Miley and Porcello as well.
  14. You will have more chances to win if you are at least competitive every year. This team has not even been competitive in the last 3/4, reason why 2013 seems like a fluke year than anything else.
  15. Guys like Harvey, Fernandez, Gray, deGrom, Carrasco, etc are a pipedream. They cost a haul of very good young talent. We need to develop those arms. It is going to take a time. In the meantime, there is not other route. We have spend at least in two proven, durable and consistent arms, otherwise we are going to be the same disgrace going forward. It is pretty clear that we have enough 5s who are performing like 7s.
  16. I'm not comparing the offenses but still... with a better pitching, the offense could be taxed in the good way (by the pitching) What I meant is that we could have been fighting for a WC spot at least with a better pitching... like TOR or other team contending for a WC.
  17. Yup, but you did not get it.
  18. This team offensively is 11th and 13th in Runs and WOBA in all baseball. While I expected a bit more, it's fine. With an average pitching we could be at least fighting for a WC spot, a la Toronto Blue Jays. Imagine Lackey, Lester, Shields, ERod and whoever else. This staff would have been above average and the offense probably would have been even better as well.
  19. Seems very solid. Good control. Nice command. Nice velocity. Good repertory. Seems like you have a very nice young talent there.
  20. How good is this Severino?
  21. I just heard that and the Tigers have been in POs in recent years.
  22. They not only built a horrible rotation but a awful BP as well. The whole pitching staff is a joke.
  23. It is a shame we are lead by this clown.
  24. Officially we're done. It's time to rebuild this. This season was a joke... again.
  25. He's not only a bad pitcher but the gas in that tank is beginning to tax him as well. His contract has not even started and it is a mess already.
