    Exactly. This is what I've been saying the last 2 Y. Also I'd rather FAs than trades most of the times, considering that you have money and you don't have to give up prospects in the process.

    Agreed. On the other hand if Price and Wright keep their level, and Porcello keeps his ERA around 4, still we are going to need another arm if we want to splash in the POs. What worries me is the BP. No one is reliable aside Hembree and Kimbrel. Koji is done. Tazawa is allowing a lot of HR. Layne is a lost cause. Ross Jr. is not the answer.

    It's been a question I've been asking here for a while. Some thought that we had a pitching that could be "good enough" to compete. See what happened the last 2 years. This year has been good bit better but it's not good enough to compete in the POs.

    It's a shame. IMO we are 1 arm away in the rotation an in the BP to win the division. Not sure how, when and who we are going to get, if so.

    We had the opportunity to add more pitching in the offseason and via FA. Getting an arm these days is going to be tough and you will likely have to give prospects in the process. Now we have to live with Clay Buchholz who has been done for a while and day after day the gap with BAL is going to get wider.

    It was a nasty pitch down in the corner. Yeah it was a strike, but given the situation JBJ should have pulled the trigger.

    Wow! 3/4 of those pitches against Shaw were strikes. Thanks God there's no a robot umpire out there LOL!

    If Shileds is going to regain his shape again, it doesn't have to be today. BTW 2-0 already? Wow!

    No problem. At this point I don't know what to think about Shileds but as I said I need to see him pitch more. I won't be surprised if he is injured or something, his recent starts are way out of his standards.

    Again, I said that he could be a nice No. 2-3 before his collapsing season which began against SEA since well, he was pitching even like a No. 1. Also his recent years made us think that still he could be a top of the rotation guy. You can keep digging about this all you want, but your hatred (against me) won't let you see the facts, admit it.

    Everyone here wanted him... So yeah we were all wrong. Don't make this about me. On the other hand I still want to see him pitch more in order to make a call.

    Hahaha nahhh I said that he pitched like an ace in some games this year. I said that he could be a nice No. 2-3 moving foeward. Go figure.

    We should have won against Sale and Quintana and somehow we lost. Now we are going to face Shields who is struggling badly... I don't know what to think about this. My only guess is that we are going to see at least 4 HR.
