  1. The way I see it (and have seen for a long time), at this point nothing is worth for NY other than a ring. Period. Not winning the division nor making the WS but winning a ring —no matter how. They won't get a ring going like this. They can "fix" some issues here and there but the core (if there is a core at all) isn't simply a WS caliber one. It hasn't been in the last decade even whether some teams looked like it. This is what I've been saying for a long time. If they want to win a WS again, they have to rebuild the team starting at the FO while changing their philosophy and baseball operations. Baseball is a unique sport these days. Money won't guarantee championships these days as it used to anymore, and is really rare to see teams winning WSs in consecutive years as the Yankees did decades ago. It has turned very competitive mostly since technology, and plenty of teams have money as well.
  2. Reason why I said they know how to pick.
  3. I like our chances on winning all the series moving forward. 2 W vs Mets 2/3 vs NYY 2/3 vs WSH 3/3 vs Os. It's a 9-2 record there, meaning ending the season at 95 Ws, and with all the momentum entering to the POs.
  4. Toronto wont sustain this kind of hitting. They simply won't.
  5. Watching Baz. It's early but his stuff is marvelous thus far against a stacked lineup. Geez the Rays know how to pick and develop pitchers man.
  6. Sox are not afraid. We just don't have that amount of quality pieces.
  7. Thanks for the info Moon. Going to be interesting how they manage the rotation.
  8. Yeah, I think all-in-all it was. It is going to be my second final since I joined the league. I completely forgot that in 2016 I made the finals as well lol!
  9. Who are likely going to pitch this week against the Mets and NYY?
  10. Here’s the same scenario, tied in POs and the best head to head record advanced.
  11. Hopefully it is how the tie break works lol
  12. I think it is confusing even for english native speakers since in the forums I checked people weren’t that sure, but it was confirmed by some posters who seem to be commissioners that the tie break is defined by the head to head record between the opponents.
  13. Yeah in forums I checked people say it means head to head record.
  14. I went to some forums to check this and yeah it is a head to head record so I guess I made the finals lol
  15. I thought the tie breaker was the overall record, so if it is head to head record I think I already won regardless the PHI-Mets game since I tied the first match up 5-5 and won the second 8-2 against Renegade BX Bombers. Please confirm this compadre!
  16. The most impressive thing is that he doesn’t swing to pitched baseballs which are “clearly” balls as he used to swing. While it has helped a lot in this steak, It is beyond a streak — it is a huge improvement on his hitting abilities.
  17. He is an automatic blank check to steal a base. He has a chicken wing arm.
  18. Pivetta doesn’t have it today. Bring somebody else already. You don’t need 7 runs here to figure out.
  19. So does Bobby have the 2nd best OPS in majors since the TDL? Didn’t know it, but what I do know is that he is a completely different hitter considering his approach and discipline at the plate. It looks like he just read a book on how to learn pitching recognition man. It’s really incredible and probably the most promising story moving forward for the Sox.
  20. Devers sucks lately in every way.
  21. These guys play horrible fundamental defense. Simply unbelievable.
  22. Devers can't get a routine out. geez
  23. Have to check it twice but I think Kike after the COVID has been dead cold. Probably he is turning into a pumpkin.
