  1. It looked to me a plain FB. Very bad call by Sanchez anyways.
  2. It is a good repertory. Question is, How good is he with his splitter and the sinker?
  3. Was it a sinker? it didn't sink at all.
  4. 2-2 but our base running keeps being horrible man. As someone said it before, Montgomery's OPS against in clutch situations dramatically goes from 500 to 800 (or something). If this is not a prove of clutch, I don't know what it is lol. He shouldn't have pitched a FB at all. I think it was Sanchez' call though.
  5. Look at KIKE, he started to take balls after a 0-2 count and he finally walked. Our guys need to be patience.
  6. They need to take more. His breaking balls haven't been strikes.
  7. yup, in order to contrast different environments.
  8. Well Kershaw time after time in POs (all-in-all) hasn't been that good. OTOH He's been very good in Regular season. If that is not repeatable then I do not know what it is.
  9. Random samples? clear fact? lol I do not even know what you are talking about.
  10. Nope, career Tuesdays are not a good sample to represent high leverage situations. POs are. While POs are not large samples by definition, POs represent the highest moments of pressure in baseball. In Kershaw’s case (as others) the sample is fair in order to argument that he simply is not very good as he is in regular season.
  11. In Mexico we do not have access to MLBN, but just noticed that at MLBTV we are allowed to watch MLB BIG INNING (live) which is great to catch live highlights around all everyday’s games. I highly recommend it mostly if you like watch games in several TVs.
  12. It has nothing to do with pressure situations.
  13. By Pepén Los abridores #RedSox en los últimos 9 juegos: Pivetta Houck Richards Ed-Rod Eovaldi Houck Pivetta Sale Ed-Rod 2.39 ERA - 61 K - 11 BB Richards y Pérez (fin de semana): 0.00 ERA - 4 IP - 5 K - 0 BB - 1 SV Seguimos, Positivo y OK.
  14. Are they still in the team?
  15. I think Arroyo has a golden glove at 2B.
  16. This! As I said it before, Kershaw hasn't been good in POs. He is a different pitcher in POs. His skill handling pressure is mediocre. Numbers don't lie and his POs appearances are not small.
  17. Even the “weak” teams they have to face, imo are tougher too.
  18. Good point. The BP has been taxed a lot.
  19. I’d go with Houck but why not try both.
  20. This is a win-the-division schedule.
  21. Wonder whether mlb will do something after this strike calling. Btw Ottavino is horrible.
  22. Lalo is right here. He should have gone one more. Cora s*** the bed here.
  23. Next year he will be better. I projected while ago something like 250/320/800 for him.
  24. ERod is looking sharp again and throwing a lot of strikes which will help him go deeper in the game. Very encouraging.
  25. As I’ve been saying consistently, we will win the division.
