    It's still not time to push the panic button fellas as ugly this could look like lately. We are still holding one of the best records in baseball, and that is a fact. Help is on its way and some players won't keep sucking as they do now. Also, I do not expect leaving so many LOBs per game as we did lately. We have natural clutch hitters. At Offense Arroyo and Shwarber will join the team. By only adding them, this will boost the offense enormously. JD won't keep sucking. I'm still high on Duran, Kid will hit. Also I would call Muñoz for Dalbec. At pitching, Houck will take a spot. Sale just pitched 81 pitches, so he is close to join the team as well. Pivetta and Rodriguez will keep us in games most of the times. Realistically we won't suck as we did the last 4 games. The BP is still our best asset and will keep that way. I still believe this team win the division.

    LOL! My point all along is that there is a fact. Regardless the situation in life, including sports and of course baseball, some people handle better pressure situations than others. It's simple common sense and a fact. Clutch is related with pressure 100%, so clutch exists and it is a skill managed better from some people than other —100% mental, and baseball is a mental spot by definition which deals with a lot of pressure.

    Long faces in the dugout. Cora looks really worried and in shock. Haven’t seen this scene this year, even when we were loosing.

    It’s obviously a pre fabricated answer to unload pressure. Of course he is concerned.

    Miserable. He just can’t hit in the middle of the order right now, he is hurting this offense.

    They need to give him 2 or 3 days at least. He’s completely lost at the plate.

    Was it feasible? That’s another kind of debate. I’m not disputing that. Was it feasible? We don’t know or at least I don’t know. What I know based on reports is that JH and Bloom at least tried to land Scherzer and did their diligence in other top pitchers like Berrios. My guess? Teams were asking too much for Scherzer and Berrios or we couldn’t outbid LAD and TOR for these options. We will never know with 100% of certainty, but I feel and understand the frustration from fans because on paper we were 2 pieces away to address our major needs. We landed Schwarber who will likely play 1B, but again we don’t know what the plan is. Sale is likely going to address our rotation issue. Maybe that was the plan. Will it work out? IDK. Hopefully he is at least 80% vintage Sale otherwise will be tough to win the division.

    I think this is true but we will be competitive in these 2-3 years. For instance we are now. As I said I’m a big Friedman fan, and Bloom at very least will likely follow his philosophy.

    Assuming Sale comes back (and If he comes back I assume he is oks) I’d go like this: Sale Eovaldi Houck Rodriguez/Pivetta BPning This configuration is a solid rotation.

    It’s not the point. The point is that you will play 2 months and likely the POs with two 6 WAR player profiles instead of 2 replacement players —Perez and Richards. It is a huge difference. Said that nothing is for sure. Moon is making up a lot of assumptions and conjectures. I can make up a lot of assumptions and conjectures too. That field is a worthless debate.

    Nothing is sure. You are the one who is making a lot of assumptions and conjectures. You don’t know nothing for sure. We didn’t need a lot of things to go right. We actually just needed an elite SP and 1B. That’s it.

    Nope. They have flaws too, and 2 Scherzers by definition boost your team by 12 WAR at very least. The same was said in 2018 and look how it ended up.

    If we got 2 Scherzers, Vegas makes us the fav and is Not even close. You are overrating LAD way too much. For instance I see SFG stronger right now.

If these guys keep us in games through five innings (I think most of the times have happened this season), we have a legit shot in POs. I give Bloom and Cora the benefit of the doubt. Thus far they have made a tremendous job with a subpar team.

    I think Tatís just blew his arm in a dumb play trying to steal 3rd. This could change the whole scenario for Los Padres.

    I agree with you in all but with a guy like Scherzer we are not worse than LAD or SDP. We are simply not, and my opinion is far from biased.
