  1. He is a 5 ERA/FIP pitcher.
  2. Not sure why Bloom would open a spot to this guy. He sucks. He is Andriese/Workman 2.0.
  3. Robles is a bum. We have way better arms in the pen.
  4. It’s beyond me and I don’t understand it.
  5. Odds say, we ain't getting an arm, so it could mean they will put all the money on Sale and Houck.
  6. The later is not a problem. The fact he is injured, is. I want to believe Bloom did a diligence regarding this, so I expect this injury is a minor thing or at least manageable.
  7. I think Perez could be a better asset than DHer in the pen.
  8. I forgot Sawamura, so I'd trade/DFA Richards.
  9. Good point but I highly doubt Alex benches Vazquez.
  10. Yeah and it matches any elite lineup in baseball.
  11. If this team goes at it is now I will go like this in a regular basis: 1. Kike (CF) 2. Verdugo (LF) 3. Xander (SS) 4. Devers (3B) 5. JD (DH) 6. Shwarber (1B) 7. Renfroe (RF) 8. Vazquez © 9. Arroyo (2B) Duran Muñoz Arauz Kevin Marwin Rotation Sale Eovaldi Houck Rodriguez Pivetta BP Barnes Ottavino Whitlock Taylor Perez Richards Valdez Offense: Elite Rotation: Good BP. Elite Bench: Good I'm assuming Sale is at least 80%, Arroyo can stay healthy and Shwarber plays 1B. If the later is true and everyone is relatively healthy, this is a legit WS contender team.
  12. yeah I just read that. The division is going to be a dogfight lol
  13. We need our offense come alive and step up. Our SP has been inconsistent as hell. It's stacked with No.4s and 5s. We need badly a No. 1 type of pitcher at the top of the rotation. Hopefully somehow we get Berrios. JD is dead cold. Xander and Devers are not 100% healthy. Renfroe and Duran are struggling. Chavis and Cordero are useless. Vazquez's bat is mediocre, so I would go with Kevin P. in a regular basis until his bat cools off. Also, I'd call Muñoz and Arauz for Cordero and Chavis. We need Arroyo back badly. NY, TB and even TOR will reduce the L column very fast within the next week if our bats don't wake up/get healthy.
  14. My major concern with Schwarber is his health. Rizzo, Cruz and Gallo will start to produce now. Schwarber is a question mark, it could take 2 weeks but it could take a complete month as well. Plus Xander, Arroyo, Devers are not oks. JD is dead cold. Duran is struggling. Renfroe is struggling. Cordero and Chavis are useless. It’s going to be a tough weekend/week.
  15. Seems like Workman was DFAed.
  16. Great piece but he is expected to return until mid August.
  17. Workman is literally a position player pitching. Let his ass until the 9th.
  18. I think you should look at the whole picture moon. ERA-/+ is a great stat but it only adjusts league/park flaws which is not a minor thing, but it doesn't isolate Pitcher's abilities and luck like FIP does, it doesn't normalize HRs like xFIP does, and it doesn't consider BABIP like SIERA does. Said that, if you put all the later in a mixer, I don't think is a good idea land Gray.
  19. Seems like the money is the least of their concerns, and Bloom's mentor is who is making the calls there.
  20. IMO if they make a move at all, they need to add an arm at the top of the rotation, otherwise I would stay as it is. We have plenty at the middle-bottom.
  21. His 2021 FIP, xFIP and SIERA don't look good, they all suggest his ERA should be higher. His BABIP is a good indicator of that. His BABIP and our IF is the perfect recipe of a time bomb.
  22. I don't like Jay but I do like Santana.
  23. Seems Red Sox, Blue Jays and Rays pushing hard on Berrios.
  24. Geez, didn’t see this coming.
  25. Houck sent down? WTF?
