    I'm fairly certain Richardson is their current solution for a lefty pitcher. The kid has potential, but its hard to say how good is he with less than 6 innings pitched.

    The sox bullpen has an ERA of 4.80. So bad, that the only team whose bullpen is worse than them is the Guardians, and well, the Guardians barely count as a mlb team right now.

    I don't think that's the case. he was on the roster a week or two ago, and they sent him back down without using him. If he only had one option, then they f***ed up royally. And either way, he's far and beyond the best option this team has, considering they really have only one reliable bullpen guy at this point-- and he's pitched far too many young innings with a young arm.

    Yeah, I suggested earlier I wanted to see what he can do, but it seems like they're more willing to throw out these triple A, 6 ERA flops in there.

    Dice-k needs a big game here. Picking up an extra game on tampa with all these injuries would be a big boost to this team. In his last give games, Dice-k has a 2.23 ERA, with a 1.24 WHIP.

    Actually, if they Wallace retires, and they renounce their free agents, they will have room for a max contract. They're not likely to get one of the big players, but its an interesting possibility.

    Buchholz will possibly pitch either monday or tuesday-- Francona. I doubt that he will make much of an impact. Lackey is having a below average season, but he's not doing terribly. In 15 games so far he's had only two games where he pitched less than 6 IP, and only 4 where he gave up more than 4 runs. One or two exceptional start and he's back to career averages.
