  1. Sox are getting f***ed hard by the umps tonight, not that it makes a difference
  2. its alright, the sox will win a lot of 3-2 type ball games, its just when we give up more than 2 runs you have a problem :dunno:
  3. Things looking great right now. Glad we got 161 more of these to look forward to. Anxious to see Lester and Lackey start
  4. why call a curveball on 3-2 when you know Beckett doesn't have the feel for it tonight?
  5. Cameron with the run prevention....for the Yankees!!! But that was s*** his hand was in way before the ball got there
  6. the love of Drew here is hilarious. One K and its time to rally the troops in defense of Drew. Can't wait till what rebuttals I'll get to see when Drew goes into another one of his prolonged slumps
  7. theres a familiar scene, Drew walking off the field after taking strike 3
  8. so.... f***ing frustrating. We out played them and we still lose, go figures, we played at home where the Bruins just don't win this year. We fired so many attempts on net, between saves, blocked shots, and shots that missed the net, we took 80+ shots. The Panthers were playing the whole third period on the defensive. ARG why can't the Bruins just take of business and beat scrub teams!
  9. 1. C-Martinez 1B. Tex 2B. Cano SS. Jeter 3B A-Rod RF Drew CF Granderson LF Ellsbury DH Ortiz
  10. Those things are great
  11. there is a difference between playing Buffalo in the first round and Washington, thats the difference between 8th and 6th. The Bruins really need to get 6th if they want any decent shot at getting out of the first round.
  12. Tonight's win against the Devils was impressive. The Bruins outplayed the Devils for most of the game, minus a few sloppy moments in our own defensive zone. Rask was sharp when he was challenged. We pressured their zone all night. I leapt out of my chair when Bergeron scored that goal. There is now a three way tie for 6th, and the Thrashers are still just 2 points behind in 9th. The Rangers keep winning too. Man, its gonna be a crazy finish.
  13. So the Sox signed some Cuban OF named Jorge Padron. I guess the guy is a pretty good hitter but lacks power. Anyone else have any info?
  14. I'll take that deal, anything we can get for Lowell is fine at this point. I don't want this mess dragging into the regular season
  15. No. Lol, anyway, Idk if its just me, but I've noticed the team has been scoring a lot more since Savard has been out. Krejci is really stepping up and playing like he did last year, so is Lucic. Tim Thomas looked great today, as much as I prefer Rask I say you ride Tim Thomas while he is hot. Tied for 7th right now, lets keep up the good work B's!
  16. I'm sure Lowell would rather go out on his own terms, not be forced into retirement because of an injury that makes him unattractive to other teams. Plus 13 million dollars is a lot to walk away from.
  17. Reds, mainly because I still follow Arroyo
  18. I really don't like the idea of playing the Yankees real early in the season, espically on Opening Day. It kinda takes out the importance of the series when you play them in early April. Opening Day is a specticle in its own right, so its speical. It would be just as exciting even if the Sox weren't playing the Yankees. It seems like there is no need for it.
  19. Butler upsets Syracuse
  20. ugh, so many chances, and we outshot the Bolts by a lot. A rare bad night by Rask, but the Bruins sloppiness at times didn't help
  21. I really thought he would be great signing back in the summer, man was I wrong. He's locked up for another two years two? Yuck
