Actually every batter in MLB makes an out about 60% (.600) or 70% (.700) each time. So I'm missing your point. That's why they have OBP around .300 and some at .400. Still more outs than getting on base.
My point is, if you can take advantages of outs that aqre made 60% or 70% of the time to score runs, you are doing your job. Scoring runs is what comes first.
But again, my point is irrelevant, because I've merely been mentioning how well Gonzo has been batting since he came here. I wasn't expecting him to be good as you've shown me, but he's been decent as a hitter. And because of that, he's been a great deal for us alongside his defensive ability. I would not mind keeping him if we had too.
