I agree, he would be cheaper than Halladay and still very helpful. If we could package him and Martinez, it'd be a plus. But probably no use now that we have Adam LaRoche. Personally, I'd love Halladay, but the price is not right.

I'd actually rather not trade Bay either, but if he isn't traded, where will Holliday fit? If we could trade Drew it would be epic, but I don't see it happening. I just want Matt Holliday though. He's available and can help our offensive woes.

I'd trade Bay to get Jermaine Dye. Only downside is that Dye is so much older.

I love Chris Duncan seriously. He's got some pop and has a great OBP. A guy I've always liked, injuries has just been his problem.

I really want to see Josh Beckett throw a no-hitter to Tek one of these days... it'll help the cause for both of them. Varitek would have caught 5 no-hitters and Beckett would have pitched a rightly deserved no-hitter.

I'm not liking the offense from this Red Sox team so far. Even when it does come around (and it will), I think a big bat from a trade would surely help out the cause.

Hi, I found this forum on google and I decided to join. But I do have some warnings. First off, I just wanted to say my last forum I was at I got banned or suspended or something like that because apparently none of the members liked me and thought I said stupid irrational things about my beliefs of baseball. But I really didn't do anything disrespectful at all. They just couldn't stand me. This was Signature Sports, formerly Red Sox 24/7 just in case you want to know. Another thing I disliked about that forum was that people started to post porn or images that were similar to porn and I often reported them. There was no administration that cared about this, it was really disturbing. And people made fun of me for calling that stuff immature. Why am I telling you this? I don't want to go down the same path. I hope there will be many more respectful Red Sox fans here, ones that don't verbally swear a lot, think their opinions are superior, or post porn. This forum looked pretty good from the start and I'm hoping I'll like it. I just hope I will get some respect here. Anyway, I'm kind of glad to have gotten banned from SS, and to be here. I think it's actually how it's supposed to be. I'm hoping this is my new great baseball forum. Thanks for considering me.
