  1. Good article. I had not seen that before. The article makes no mention of the Sox desiring to unload Gonzalez.
  2. Is it widely accepted that the Sox wanted to purge AGon? I never heard that. I have heard repeatedly that the Dodgers wanted AGon and that was the aspect of the deal that made getting rid of the other two possible.
  3. And the DR is the "well off" side of that island. They make the best cigars, though!
  4. lulz Edit: I was lulzing over the Faux News, not the story. It seems that I could not bold text that was bold already.
  5. That is just terribly f***ed up.
  6. I think the pen is not completely defined and constructed. I'm not sure who will be in it. I am not saying that they will suck but I just don't know how much of a strength it it without knowing who all the players are.
  7. That is f***ing funny.
  8. Expensive water downed beer at Fenway.
  9. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!1!!!1! No offense Moon! Hahahahahhahaha!!! I may have to start as thread. oye.
  10. Who knows how it happened? A loss of any life is sad and unfortunate. Young people die all the time in car accidents. Imagine being a parent and losing your child of 25.
  11. So I am pathetic? I don't know much about him other than what I hear on TV and of course what I read. I think that MLB should adopt the Archie Bunker plan. Hand out syringes of Steroids and HGH as the players arrive at the clubhouse each day. Then there will be an even playing field.
  12. I can see this. I remember living in Newton as a boy in 1967. The Sox games were on TV 38 at the time. Not all of them were broadcast either as I seem to recall. Once in a while a game would be on Ch 5 which was CBS at the time. Overall, with UHF reception sketchy at best, many games were fuzzy looking. I was the only person in my family that was into the Sox so I would just sit in the basement alone and watch the faint image of the game on a black and white tv. Lol. There were two Boston papers at the time and just a few minutes each day of sports news on the local news broadcasts. Sports radio did not become a thing as I recall until I was in 8th or 9th grade when Sports Huddle came to be on WBZ AM. It was quite different back then.
  13. I just woke up so maybe my two neurons are not working yet. But I don't get it, I guess. I was not being sarcastic. Was Moon? Things are moving too fast for the Kid ( to quote Richard Prior ).
  14. Has it been determined definitively that he did not juice?
  15. Even if he juiced?
  16. Or if he falls on his face at the plate.
  17. lol lol
  18. I've lost my appreciation of Remy to some extent. Not me. I think that I noticed that too. I kind of like the foolishness between Orsilo and Remy but it could get a to be a little much at times. He now does seem to be presenting more technical information about the game and how it is played and why. I kind of doubt that he stays for the entire three years do to age and health. Regardless, He still does a good job and remains one of the best color men I have heard.
  19. Book the Duckboats!!!! Seriously, this is normal.
  20. So Joey Batts signed a one year $18. mil deal with options with the Jays. Shrewd.
  21. Yup. Minor leagues are more than a bank for trade chips.
  22. And how do the other outfielders compare for both teams?
