  1. Except that the idea of a disruptive runner having a significant impact on pitching has been debunked. I am confused.
  2. "Nothin' from nothin' leaves nothin."
  3. We also lose a TOR guy and have to pay another guy to hopefully replace his value. So that is a gain? Okay. Mas Tequila.
  4. So I guess Mookie can get some RBI hitting lead off.
  5. Presently f***ed.
  6. Boom. He could f*** with pitchers.
  7. Well in theory anyone could be traded aside from the guys with no trade clauses and or other restrictions on their status. I doubt that the Sox go big on a deadline deal but one never knows. Maybe they make an off radar Blockbuster.
  8. So David Price picked a verbal battle with Dennis Eckersley on the flight to Toronto. I think Cafarto or some other Globe slag reported it. What in the actual f*** is his problem? He's going to get crucified for this. Break out the vinegar.
  9. Still a s***** deal. And I never bought the Lackey explanation. In this case a bird in the hand was worth more than two in the Bushe.
  10. Some team will sign him.
  11. Yup. While I very much value the D that Merrero brings to 3rd Lin may be able to hit and play decent D.
  12. Motherf***er could hit baseballs.
  13. He is playing 2nd tonight and has a single and a triple. I am surprised you did not say that he is the best 2nd baseman, lol.
  14. I like that better than the salt shaker.
  15. I think it was dumb.
  16. So will Pablow.
  17. Boom. Aside from the players that we don't want to move, that is.
  18. Anyone could take the ALE. I'm not counting out the Yankees.
  19. It sucks to see someone who is trying their best struggle.
  20. I do not like the idea of spending big money to correct a terribly expensive problem at 3rd. And for what? a 33 year old meh infielder from Venezuela. We already have a younger version of that. I vote no on Prada.
  21. This explains almost perfectly how I see it. Good post.
  22. I was a proponent of trading for Gray for a couple of years. He has not been the same guy for a while and I really don't know why. I heard that his last few starts were encouraging. Oddly I don't want to see the Sox trade for Gray now. I don't want to lose more assets and I think we have enough pitching ( if all goes okay health wise ). I know that you can never have enough pitching. I agree with that idea. But at what cost? Sox may have been just doing their due diligence in scouting Gray. We'll see.
