  1. Welcome to the Rogue State! It looks like you will fit in here quite well.
  2. Yeah that sucks but there are players I would like to see like Albert and Cole Calhoun ( who is an official All-Spudboy team Sox killer ). I am looking forward to a call that goes against the Angels just so I can see Socia throw a tizzy and get the boot.
  3. Does Moose have the right to veto a a trade? I don't know. Maybe someone here does know. Moose says he wants to remain in KC and hopefully finish his career there. Maybe it camouflage or maybe he is being honest. Should have re-signed Beltre.
  4. I saw one "expert" reporter graded the Celt's draft a "C+". I agree with your view. I don't see a big difference in any of these top picks. They are all 19 or so with one year of college ball. None of them are likely to be impact players very soon. It's not like Spencer Haywood or Moses Malone were on the board. No transformative players available. The Celts did about as well as can be expected with their selection. We just have to see who on the current roster will remain and who the Celts grab in free agency and with trades. Danny is not done. I too trust him to do what is best.
  5. Cool. Just what this franchise needs. Another high priced and much ballyhooed International prospect.
  6. Mexico City is a known Mecca for street food. I'd love to sample it.
  7. Velazquez looks like the better of the two dumpster dives, doesn't he?
  8. That is correct. Farrell uses the words "Game Plan" to describe these things. He reminded everyone of this when Velazquez was pulled at 5 1/3 innings. He said that was the game plan.
  9. Yes. He had to stop throwing.
  10. Hahahahahahaha!!1 Endorsed by none other than Giselle!
  11. I tend to agree. The guy has damaged his brain. Maybe it repairs itself, maybe it won't.
  12. No you have my comment all wrong. I am referring to the athletes that came after him that juiced.
  13. I always liked the guy. Yeah, ultimately the juice killed him. His story should have been a strong caution to all the athletes that came after him. Nope. Greed is good. Use the juice and make even more money.
  14. 2:15 PM ET, June 21, 2017 PAY ATTENTION PEOPLES!!!! DAY GAME!!! Kauffman Stadium, Kansas City, Missouri Starting Pitchers Boston: Pomeranz (6-4, 4.19 ERA) Kansas City: Kennedy (1-6, 5.03 ERA) Doe Boy comes up big in this series rubber game.
  15. I think the Sox are going to keep Pablow around because they win more games when he plays than when he does not play. That has value!
  16. No. He used to be a regular guess on the Johhny Carson show. They played a game of word association. Carson said "John McEnrow" to which Alzado quickly replied "I'd like to slap him around".
  17. Can't improve on what you said. I'd like to give him the Lyle Alzado treatment.
  18. This line-up producing. How unlikely!
  19. Not to pile on but today I read that Paplow has missed about 240 of the 390 or so games the Sox have played while he is on the roster. Sound investment.
  20. This kid Travis just hits.
  21. If that kid could hit .230 and .320 he would be a real asset.
  22. Late start for a GT. BOS: Sale (8-3 , 2.82 ERA) KC: Strahm (2-3 , 3.67 ERA)
  23. And, once traded, who is his replacement near term and long term? What would this team gain in such a deal?
  24. Hmm. I am not on the DFA Pablow bandwagon but I certainly agree with this. How many times can they go to this "well" anyways?
