    We also signed a catcher, Sean Killeen from Trinity as an UDFA. Also I don't believe we officially signed Jacobs yet, but I'm pretty sure we're guaranteed to sign him before the deadline. I just don't think we're announcing the deal as to give any of the other potential signees leverage.

    Hey guys. I figured it was safe for me to check in now that the Sox are up 5-0. I hadn't been posting since the Sox tend to lose if I do. I didn't post the past few days and look what happened. I posted before that (when we lost to the Rangers) but I didn't post before that (when we were beating the Tigers) I might go to bed if this game doesn't resume soon. For the record I stayed up until 4:15 am watching last night's game.

    Yeah, I'd keep Masterson warming up, he was lucky to have a quick and scoreless 3rd inning. Wakefield doesn't have his better stuff tonight.

    I'm testing my theory. I didn't post the last Red Sox loss, although the last 3 times I posted here the Red Sox did lose. So the Red Sox may still lose if I don't post here, but they may lose more often if I do post here. Needless to say I'm pretty superstitious so I stopped posting here the last few games and it worked a bit. I'm just sick of soxprospects.com so I needed something to do, and to of course, test my theory.

    I just don't like him in general, it has nothing to do with today. Anyway I'm off to bed. Seeing as we're boned, I might as well get a few more hours of sleep than otherwise possible. We'll get 'em next time. If not the Rangers then Julio Lugo.

    I think the Red Sox should raffle Julio Lugo off, and whoever wins gets to do whatever they want to him. The Red Sox can make money and get rid of Julio Lugo at the same time.

    Well at least the Sox won. If I stayed up for that to have the Sox lose you'd probably never see me again. Although I didn't agree with the bullpen management, a win's a win. Now let's go and win some games we are favoured to win, unlike last time where we beat Romero but then lost to Tallet and Jansen.
