  1. DFA schreiber. Should have traded him deadline ‘22 at height of his value.
  2. Winckowski vs Schmidt
  3. They are behind SEA too. TOR is 0.5 back of the Mariners right now.
  4. He was a good acquisition. Guy was a 2 fWAR player last few years and was hurt early this season. His ceiling was higher than any 2b on the current 40 man. He was moved for a guy potentially taken in the next Rule 5 draft, but still in A ball. I don’t think it was a move to fix the problems of this year.
  5. Crawford vs Cole
  6. He should just be the 5th starter.
  7. Why can't the Sox be a rich team? It's the same CBT!
  8. I can't fault you for hoping that he'd come back, but it was a lost cause for sure. Smart posters realized this.
  9. 1. Verdugo RF 2. Devers 3B 3. Turner DH 4. Yoshida LF 5. Casas 1B 6. Story SS 7. Duran CF 8. McGuire C 9. Reyes 2B
  10. They are the only team with money now?
  11. Keep him and hope for the upside. Just don't plan for it.
  12. Bello vs Brito The Battle for Last DAMN Place
  13. @JeffPassan The Los Angeles Angels are calling up first baseman Nolan Schanuel, who they took with the 11th overall pick in the draft less than six weeks ago and was in Double-A, sources tell ESPN. The 21-year-old from Florida Atlantic is hitting .370/.510/.493 in 21 minor league games. Nolan Schanuel was seen as perhaps the most big league-ready hitter in this draft, with incredible production (.447/.615/.868 with 71 walks and 14 strikeouts in 289 PA) at FAU. But this fast a promotion exceeds the loftiest expectations. Angels doing everything they can to win. Nolan Schanuel's promotion by the Angels is the fastest for a player in decades, according to @ESPNStatsInfo. The last US-born player to debut within 40 days of being drafted: Texas pitcher Jerry Don Gleaton in 1979. The last position player: Toronto catcher Brian Milner in 1978.
  14. Are you saying that Game Thread mojo is a lie?!?!?!?!?
  15. How many rehab starts will he have next season?
  16. Henry showing up now does not help the team in anyway. How the fans feel about the team doesn't change how the team plays.
  17. Yup, not all prospects work out. It's still early though.
  18. BB% 3/30 -6/14: 15.6% 6/15 - 8/17: 11.4% His BB rate decreased the last two months.
  19. 6 out of 30! 80% of 1st round picks were hitters! But Bloom is doing something wrong?
  20. Well, your idea is to ALSO not sign high cost FA starters (aside from Yamamoto). So how would you fill out a rotation?
  21. If they don't like his swing decisions, wait until Rafaela shows up.
  22. That's what people said last offseason.
  23. Casas has 55 BB's, Devers has 42. Only 5 batters are on pace for 100 BB's: Soto, Schwarber, Olson, Happ, Ohtani. Right now, Devers is who he is. He's not going to change.
  24. Now that is some hyperbole.
