  1. Can’t hit, but Kiké sure could field in CF. Defense up the middle matters. Hold your nose for one year until Rafaela was ready. That’s why I thought they re-signed him.
  2. Yup.
  3. Most guys waive no trades to go to playoff contenders.
  4. Chang injury - curse? Kiké move to SS - poor roster mgmt (leave in CF) Mondesi injury - poor roster mgmt Story injury - poor roster mgmt (signed a discounted contract due to Story’s injury in COL)
  5. They did if JD and Sale were on the block.
  6. You can be all in on April 1, but realize it’s time to deal on July 31.
  7. Not cursed, just bad roster management.
  8. Sorry, it’s not believable. The job description was trade Mookie.
  9. They had trades for Sale and JD that Bloom passed on. Easy enough to complain.
  10. I don’t onow why they promised not to trade him.
  11. Used car salesman vibe from him.
  12. Henry has a huge piece of blame pie to eat. I’m no fan.
  13. Why wait for a stupid offer. You get under the CBT because the plan was to give Nate and Xander QO’s. That gives the Sox extra 2nd round picks rather than extra 4th round picks.
  14. Wrong. If they were going to go over: Why trade Vaz? Why admit they tried trading JD?
  15. Lots of worse lately it seems.
  16. The likable part is in reference to the PR spin backlash. People won’t care. People don’t like Bloom.
  17. Even if he was already healthy, it was probably foolish. However, hoping for an injured player to cover for another injured player is just dumb.
  18. Nah, this firing was very justifiable and Bloom wasn’t all that likable of a person.
  19. “Ooops, I went over the CBT barely” was enough justification.
  20. No, this is a ******** narrative being pushed right now. 4 years is still a long time. Ben and Chaim both failed epically for 6 years. DD did an amazing job, but ran out the string. He had no more tools in his belt once the farm and money ran dry. Sox need someone in between Chaim and DD. It's still a marquee job.
  21. It's less about the record and more about what he did or didn't do during that time.
  22. Multiple people outside the organization expressed issues with their inability with getting deals done with Chaim (Sale deal, Verdugo deal, JD deal). At some point there's just too much smoke to ignore.
  23. You just don't want to believe it.
  24. The reports mostly came from outside the organization or not from ownership.
