  1. I think a lot of the shine is off of Robert ATM. If they trade him now it’d be selling low.
  2. Crochet is really the only big fish they have left to move. The problem with dealing low level guys is that so many things can go wrong between A ball and MLB.
  3. I don't think Hamilton moves that needle very much. That's just a 40 man dump.
  4. No way do the ChiSox move Crochet for low level prospects like Arias and Montgomery.
  5. Sox were also doing that staff audit. Breslow may decide to make many more changes that we don't even hear about this offseason.
  6. I don't think Cora would want every player to post, but maybe he has his eyes on certain guys that he thinks could play 162. Maybe it's a body type as well as overall player toolset.
  7. Maybe? He hurt himself this year diving for a ball. 2B should help his throwing arm, but I'd assume there aren't residual issues post surgery. Hard to say what his next injury could possibly be. He was a great 2B though.
  8. If Slaten and Martin were healthy for 162, this team would have had a much better outlook. Bernardino seemed to be a clear one year wonder and was due for regression. Winckowski's ERA fell back towards his FIP as expected. Not sure why they held onto Joely. There just weren't many good options to bring up from AAA this season.
  9. Will nice to be done with Pivetta for good.
  10. Unsurprising when he has a bad shoulder.
  11. You think the ChiSox can go 5-6 to end this? That's a monster run for them! I'm sure they are doing everything they can to not be the worst team in history. Angels - 5 games Tigers - 3 games Padres - 3 games
  12. At some point: Monegro Paez Elmer Early Wehunt I think Sandlin and Wikelman will be in WOO to start the season.
  13. Bagwell was behind Cooper and Mo. He was also traded for a middle reliever that was gone after one season. If they traded him for a young arm, the trade wouldn't be so horrible even if it didn't work out.
  14. Rafaela at 2B is just a waste to me, but whatever.
  15. 20% is a decent shot IMO. Sox currently are under 3%. Last time Sox were above 20% was 8/31.
  16. Hansack had that no hitter! Of course it remains "unofficial" since it wasn't a complete game due to it being shortened due to rain. We had season tickets to the PawSox at various points in the late 80's. Lots of great memories. I won the quiz one game and the seat cushion that I got as a prize (also got a case of coke and a free oil change for my mom) was accidentally left behind after the fireworks later on that year. HMPH!!!
  17. I don't know what's worse, watching the Sox fall off in September or having to watch a game at the Trop. Dreary.
  18. I don't care about Horn's option. He's pretty horrible. I'd DFA him at the end of the season.
  19. Anthony is most likely going to play corner OF in BOS. Yorke was starting to play corner OF in WOO.
  20. With how often pitchers get injured, they need a ton of those deals. Hard agree.
