  1. Bloom: Whitlock Guerrero Dobbins Drohan Penrod Elmer Monegro Paez Early Mullins Dean Gambrell At the moment, nobody projects to be more than a backend starter ceiling. A lot of relief arms. Bloom seemed to really go for the high floor/low ceiling arms in the draft. Lots of orgy guys. Maybe Monegro can put it together under the new pitching system?
  2. That’s not enough to turn down a QO.
  3. You could use this exact argument to put Houck in the pen on 4/1/24.
  4. He does have good stuff. His issue is control. He ended his season strong in WOO and it has carried over.
  5. Not trying to be grumpy. I’ve just been yelled at by my kids all weekend. The new site has been a massive upgrade!
  6. There is an issue where the refreshing of certain ads has taken my cursor out of a reply I’m trying to make. Aside from that, no complaints.
  7. For all the reasons posted above, I initially questioned the rush and cost of the extension of Rafaela. I like him as a player, but accept his warts. He’s not going to figure out the plate discipline IMO.
  8. Fitts 4 scoreless is an absolute win IMO.
  9. Will be interesting to see Fitts against a tougher lineup.
  10. In relation to the CBT, which is JH’s limit, it went down.
  11. It's going to be a good Friday the 13th when they put Bobby Dalbec at SS.
  12. Who started the rumor or where is it coming from?
  13. Verdugo cost the Yankees 8.7M this year. That's where O'Neilll was paid from.
  14. They would have been better off keeping Sale, expecting a partial season and signing Lorenzen and expecting him to pitch about 120 innings. Vaughn Grissom not being the starting 2B going forward is a real kick in the nuts for this deal.
  15. I just don't buy the rumor that he'll be that far below the CBT. 20M? Maybe. 40? I doubt it!
  16. At 19M? I can think of a few cheaper ways.
  17. This guy might be a DUDE next year.
  18. If that's the case, they wouldn't have signed Giolito.
  19. Moving Abreu to 1b wastes his defense. Right now, he's a platoon bat. You'd almost turn him into Enmanuel Valdez.
  20. Casas is still preARB next year. His first year is '26.
  21. What's the point in being that far under the budget? It doesn't make sense to me if they are trying to sell us on next year. If they went 20M under and signed a few one year deals, it'd make more sense.
