  1. Bregman is a dead pull hitter whose numbers get inflated with the short porch in HOU. At Fenway, a lot of those HR's turn into doubles and singles. I don't know how well his game will translate to BOS. In theory, he could be a good fit (RHB, decent defender I believe, good contact skills).
  2. I'll undelete said posts. Trade everyone.
  3. Mayer, maybe. I wouldn't send the others. Sox already stated that none of them are going.
  4. I would have appreciated it if he didn't save his worst start of the year for my one trip to Fenway. 😾
  5. JBJ didn’t have a good full season until he was 26. Ceddanne is still 23. I think we can give him a little break. He’s a much better 23 year old than JBJ was.
  6. Get the duck boats ready. They gonna get 79 wins!
  7. WAS the most successful.
  8. We didn't want it enough.
  9. Sounds good to me.
  10. Zeferjahn is streaky and has massive control issues. That 6.2 bb/9 in WOO wasn't pretend. He ended last year with an 8.4 bb/9 in POR.
  11. League Average is 22.6% Sox under 22.6%: Duran 21.7 Masa 12.5 Grissom 21.7 (92 PA) Jansen 21.4 (89 PA) That's it!!! Nobody else!!!
  12. Valdez has a 469 OPS since the Aug callup. Romy has been solid. DHam has been better than expected.
  13. Sox are down so bad that a lot of people that typically post lineups on Twitter just don’t do it anymore.
  14. Yes, he has good counting stats because he plays a lot.
  15. After falling 0-1, Rafaela has an OPS of 512. He has a first pitch swing % of 50%. The only other Sox regulars 35% or higher are Wong (35%) and Romy (42%). League average is 30.4%.
  16. When they tried to force him to take more pitches in MiLB, his OPS cratered. He just doesn't have a batter's eye at all. Why force him to take a pitch right down the middle? He's best when he swings away. It's ugly, but it would only be uglier otherwise.
  17. I'll watch to see if Fitts can continue to pitch well. He needs to get the k/9 a little higher though. 3.4 isn't going to do it with his stuff. Festa should rack up a few k's of his own in this one.
