  1. Bello hasn't stepped up and Joely was a waste of a roster spot, but hard to call either a bomb.
  2. Rafaela is fine. He's an above average CF with GG caliber defense. At SS, he's not that. Duran is above average in CF. I think his metrics are juiced a little, but he's been very good this year.
  3. Betting against both teams to not with the WS in each year is the way to go, honestly.
  4. How does a pitcher like Brewer keep getting chances? That's enough!
  5. Let's check in on a former Sox fave: Cubs reliever Colten Brewer came into Saturday’s game against the Angels in the top of the third inning with Chicago down 2-0. He walked the first batter he faced, then fielded a comebacker but threw the ball away into center field which put two runners in scoring position with nobody out. Then he gave up an RBI single, recorded an out, gave up another RBI single, another run scored on a throwing error by the catcher, he walked another guy, allowed two base runners to steal, recorded a second out, and then hit a guy. He was then mercifully lifted after having turned a 2-0 game into a 5-0 game. Then things got worse for him: Yep, he punched the dugout wall. Yep, he broke his hand. And yep, he’s been placed on the 60-day injured list.
  6. We'd all be better off if the ownership group just f***ed off and never talked to the media. Have they ever said anything beneficial since Larry dipped? Werner, Henry and Sammy are all jokes who can't stop shoving their feet in their mouths and needing to clarify their statements after the fact.
  7. Duffy is OLDER than Early and still in Salem just as an FYI. Early was 21 on Opening Day this year.
  8. Also, a WHIP of 1.12 is pretty decent for Greenville considering how bad that IF defense has been there.
  9. Early is in Greenville which is High A. It's his first full pro season after college. I don't see an issue. He's not a TOTR starter. He maybe projects as a back end starter if all the cards break right.
  10. Yup, two pitch pitcher is he problem. It's why some see him as a reliever.
  11. 906 OPS for Romy since coming back from the IL. I wanted to write the dude off, but C'mon man! 777 OPS for Dom Smith with ok defense and some real memorable moments (bb before the Masa bomb, position player pitching). He's probably the guy that is gone, but deserves to stay. Seems like a glue guy to me. I don't know why.
  12. Valdez has a 961 OPS since being called back up at the end of May. That defense is putrid though. He should be the DH.
  13. When you are a pitcher, one pitch could end your career. Signing a life changing contract vs betting on yourself isn't always an easy decision.
  14. I can't believe Carmine died for this idiot.
  15. "People aren't paying attention to me anymore."
  16. Good.
  17. Meidroth is a poor SS who would barely get the ball out of the IF.
  18. Red Sox fans aren't going to fill the stands back up just because of a few hot weeks. The Sox were disappointing in 2019, terrible in 2020, surprising in 2021 and below average and boring in 2022 and 2023. Most people have tuned out. If the Sox are around for the playoffs, the fans will come back like they did for 2021.
  19. No.
  20. More drivel from wacko jacko.
  21. It was amazing
  22. Dom Smith CY
  23. Dom Smith pitching
  24. My bad mojo has defeated the yellow jerseys
