    In 2023, Grissom led his AAA squad with 501 SLG. He wasn't exactly bashing HR's, but hitting in Gwinnett will do that to you. Home: 1 HR, 441 SLG, 820 OPS Away: 7 HR, 550 SLG, 999 OPS

    The Braves have great starting pitcher depth. The Sox after the top 5 went to Cooper Criswell and Winckowski. After that, it would get ugly fast.

    They have a better depth of starters than the Sox do at the moment even with the Strider injury. Red Sox have needed to run with bullpen games. The Braves don't rely on bullpen games to manage their starter workload. Not sure how you can compare Crawford and Bello with Fried and Lopez.

    According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, he still had an additional days rest before tonight's game. Word is that he spent 24 hours in the Tardis with the Doctor. Unfortunately, that could have some wibbly wobbly timey wimey side effects for his arm.

    Sale hasn’t started on regular rest all season. He’s had at least one extra day in all of his turns through the rotation. They've used a 6 man rotation whenever they've had more than 5 games in a row. They make sure all their starters get an extra day of rest.

    He started off the year slow too. I'm sure he'll pick back up eventually. He's a little bit of a weird case and I think he's more of a 4th OFer long term.

    And people keep penciling Story in for playing time in the future, but we've seen that he's spent considerable time on the bench since he's been here. It's more likely that will be the case going forward.

    @SoxProspects The Red Sox released 20yo RHP Elvis Soto. He hadn't pitched this season due to shoulder fatigue/soreness. Signed in June 2022 at age 18 for $10k, he reached Salem last year and was briefly ranked in the #SP60, reaching #55 during the 2023 offseason.

    I think they'd be best to let him get back to 100% in AAA this time around. Seems like he was rushed to BOS out of necessity before.

    Yorke has all of 25 games in AAA. If you combine his AA and AAA stats, his OPS is under 800 for the season. Not sure why people think the Sox would move him up to BOS if there wasn't an emergency. In WOO, he's played 18 G at 2B and 7 in LF. His defense at 2B is still average to below average.
