    For starter fWAR since 2016, he's behind: Paxton, Taillon, Syndergaard, Marquez, Gibson, Carrasco, Rodon, Corbin, Bauer, Lynn, Hendricks, Quintana and others I wouldn't want to spend a lot of money on either.

    I'm allowed to just not like a player. Years above 2 bWAR 2016 2018 2021 2024 More often than not, he's been a mediocre to bad pitcher even when pitching in a great pitcher's park like OAK.

    I saw Rikishi and his family walk into LA Food Show back when I lived out there. This was before his kids signed with WWE and arguably became more famous.

    Yes, I was young. That's why I most certainly rely on other sources. When those other sources tell me he wasn't a complete dog in the field, I'm going to assume he wasn't a net negative the way you did. 🤷‍♀️

    This wasn't a move based on being cheap. It was to acquire a pitcher with the highest ceiling who was realistically available. Crochet has the potential be better than any other pitcher moved this offseason. It also may be a trade that just blows up in their face.

    Realistically, I have no clue what their plan is. Buehler, acquire a catcher and more relievers and I'm fine with it. I'm ok if they don't fix the handedness of the hitters.

    He's just not great and the Sox could get better at that position without having to spend a lot of money. To me, I'd value a defensive first guy that could help the pitching staff rather than an offensive first guy like Wong.

    Wow, one trade worked out in favor of the Sox. Therefore, Red Sox prospects are routinely overhyped. Swihart, Chavis and Dalbec were not overhyped as prospects. Of those three, the only one that had any trade value at any moment in time was Swihart. C'mon man! Michael Chavis was overhyped? By who? Dalbec? Laughable...

    The flea market pickups below Buehler aren't better than what we already have. I guess they find AAA depth? IDK.
