    I'm not sure the talent is there in non-pressure situations. I think fans give these guys too much credit. The starting rotation is crap right now. The lineup is more top heavy than a Russ Meyer's film. The defense has been putrid for years. The bullpen has some pieces, but is mostly just career journeymen. As fans, we want to believe there is something there. We want to believe it's not going to be a lost summer. I think the writing is on the wall. Something DRASTIC would have to change for me to believe differently at this point.

    I'm not sure even a win is going to make anyone feel better. Going 1-2 against LAA isn't great. If they have another "Boston Massacre" type series, there will be some sort of fallout.

    I agree and think the team gets along just fine. A lot of the issues are media driven, as always and sometimes fed to the media by particular people in the organization.

    Yes, he believes they can just move Anthony over to 1B AND that Campbell is a better SS than Mayer AND that Abreu isn't deserving of a GG in RF.

    It's not Masa's fault he was sent to AAA. He was actually swinging the bat in ST and playing in games. He could have been on the Opening Day roster.
