  1. Not sure it would make a difference in how well a portion of the population smells. Yes, in that description I'm including the white upper-middle class kids who migrate to the city each year to "squat" and beg for food for their non-neutered dogs. Green bud. Green bud. Green bud. Waking up to the sounds of a drum circle outside of your apartment is like hearing the drumming in the mines of Moria. "Fly you fools."
  2. The umpires union isn't very strong. I'm sure MLB has enough leverage to get something like that to work. However, that wouldn't happen until 1/1/20 at the earliest, which is when the current union contract ends.
  3. Not really a big surprise there. He has always struggle to remain healthy.
  4. A lot of those summer squaters do have homes though... For the most part, I don't have a problem with the homeless population. I do have a problem with the lack of services provided towards the homeless as well as the aggressive panhandling of some homeless persons. I have great memories from living in SF. It's a shame that the high cost of living is completely changing the city's culture.
  5. I turn games off when the umpiring is particularly rough. I don't find the product enjoyable when I have to stress over the strike zone. If Angel Hernandez is behind the plate, I find something else to do.
  6. I only use socially aware recipes. Sorry.
  7. Yes, it's completely racist. It's basically a poor version of nacho fixings, but with potatoes rather than chips.
  8. He'll be back and probably marginally better than what he has been so far. However, this is one spot in the rotation that could be easily upgraded.
  9. Spud, it's just the wonderful quirkiness of the game! Enjoy it!
  10. Have you not been to the 99? They have them there.
  11. SF is a horrible fan base. I hate that stadium too. The food was good there though. If I never lived there, I'd probably have a higher opinion of Barry Bonds.
  12. ^ Typical tv viewer perspective. I believe the only way to truly watch baseball is to be sitting at a game (not behind the godforsaken net), eating stale peanuts and boiled hot dogs.
  13. Your complaints aren't valid because your team lost, apparently.
  14. Dead horse? You were talking about it, not me.
  15. No. Shields' ERA is worse. Shields' WHIP is way worse.
  16. How is Shields pitching today? Shields had pitched worse against the NL West than Porcello against the AL East.
  17. 87% accuracy!!!! Hoo boy!
  18. Got something against an American hero like Karch Kiraly, Bell?
  19. He too was worse than Porcello last year!
  20. It included Rubby DelaRosa aka Pedro Jr.
  21. You not see any CC Sabathia starts last year?
  22. The worst? Nope. There were a dozen starting pitchers last year that had a worse WAR than Porcello.
