He did slide through the base without trying to stay on, which would be called under the new rule. However, if you watch the replay, you also see him reach out with his hand to trip the IF. It would have been called last year, imo.
Proof that Duquette was a failure: http://articles.latimes.com/2003/aug/03/sports/sp-dogduquette3
What a joke. Almost as unfunny as Professor Benny the Boob. Whatever happened to that Duquette fella anyway?
Can't believe we're only a hours away from potentially seeing this again:

This is the attitude of an abuse victim.
Let's see if it'll change! Things could get better! Maybe she won't hit me this time and steal my whole paycheck! I'm sure she'll let me see my family soon!
As Don Corleone once said "know when to walk away, know when to run."

For square slices (i.e. Sicilian, grandma), I have to say that there's a place in RI that's better than L&B Spumoni Gardens or other Brooklyn joints (everyone in RI just wishes they were from Brooklyn though).
If I'm being honest, the best pizza I ever had was in Brooklyn and it's not even close.
NYC is too big and busy for me. After they closed CBGB's, there was less and less of a reason for me to go there. If I didn't have friends that lived in Park Slope (ugh, just no) I wouldn't have been to NYC in the past 10 years.
I'm sure the weather in Minnesota is lovely the first week of April and the last few weeks in October!
With the NYC parks, you need to remember that they were really trying to save money on the construction to make sure that building a new ballpark wouldn't lead to higher priced tickets and luxury seats that people wouldn't be able to afford to sit it. I'd say it was a resounding success on both parts. I mean, there are certainly no issues in the surrounding neighborhood of Queens and an afternoon watching ball in the Bronx is a great frugal option for locals.
