  1. Working for MASN? Daniel Clark blogs about the Orioles at The Big Leagues Daily from Melbourn, Australia. Follow him on Twitter: @TBLDaily. His thoughts on the O’s appear here as part of MASNsports.com’s continuing commitment to welcome guest bloggers to our little corner of cyberspace. All opinions expressed are those of the guest bloggers, who are not employed by MASNsports.com but are just as passionate about their baseball as our roster of writers.
  2. All you have to do is google Dan Clark's name to see what a nobody is and how he's just made stuff up all offseason for publicity.
  3. https://www.nbcsports.com/chicago/white-sox/one-writer-says-manny-machado-set-join-yankees-though-no-one-else-has-confirmed This guy said back in December that he's heard Machado is going to NYY. Two months later... crickets. Sounds like a great source!
  4. https://ibwaa.com/ Must be really hard to be an IBWAA member? The IBWAA seeks neither to replace nor disparage the BBWAA, but does offer distinctions. While the BBWAA requires ten years and hundreds of dollars of paid membership for writers to earn a Hall of Fame vote, the IBWAA has no waiting period, with a $75 lifetime fee. Oh!
  5. What award was it? I know it says it under his username on Twitter, but I'm sure you know this tremendous award he won! Maybe it was a bowling alley or sexy lamp?
  6. Sig bet that he starts Opening Day?
  7. WTF is a Dan Clark sports? BW loves following these nobodies. I don't get it.
  8. I feel like he's a guy I don't hear enough from! I see a lot of pictures of him at community events. Seems like a good dude.
  9. @ChrisCotillo Xander Bogaerts isn’t counting out Dustin Pedroia. “He has the biggest mouth and he backs it up. If he said he could fly, I’d expect him to fly.”
  10. @jcmccaffrey LeVangie, Pedro, Crockett, Romero, Dombrowski, Cora, Bannister all intently watching RHP Josh Smith throwing live BP at the moment. He’s another guy who could be in the bullpen mix among the non-roster invitees/minor league deal guys like Carson Smith, Erasmo Ramirez, Zach Putnam @jcmccaffrey Another NRI, righty Domingo Tapia throwing now in front of that same group of staff/front office guys
  11. Hard agree.
  12. @alexspeier Would Bogaerts be open to signing with the Sox before the season? ‘Sure...The Sox have treated me amazing so far...We’ll see what happens.’
  13. Cold stove season.
  14. SP does it based on MLB service time, not age or sell by date.
  15. Doesn't mean s*** to me.
  16. It wasn't done intentionally and the Stanley Cup has seen far worse...
  17. My goalposts didn't move at all. The Yankees haven't really competed the past few years and they won't this year. It was wrapped up long before the final week, you just didn't want to believe it.
  18. I was never "off" his bandwagon. I just thought he should have been traded a few years ago when his value was still high. I was proven correct even though some silly folks think I was just buzzarding. I like Pedroia on the team. I'm not sure he'll be worth $12M in 2021, but time will tell. If they can win another ring this year or next, I'm fine with a Pedey retirement tour in '21.
  19. If he had much value, they would have traded him last year. He'll get traded for a AAAA arm.
  20. When you got six of them already, it's ok if one of them breaks.
  21. Just Pats and I believe some of the Lombardi trophies.
  22. The Sox have two rings since the last time the Yankees even won the division. If that's "spin" you live in a very different world from me. Back to back to back to back!
  23. Hope you're hungry!
  24. I don't have 99.9% of the cards I had when I was a kid. Regrowing my collection has been slow and steady. The toughest part is that my favorite card stores aren't around anymore. I'm actually going to take my son to a card show on Monday and have been trying to ease him into the hobby. He's more of a pokemon collector right now though.
  25. Sometimes, but that's only for the vintage wax packs. The newer cards don't have gum in them. I got a wax pack box of 1990 Topps for Xmas and had a lot of fun opening them all. I tried one piece of gum. It was an unholy combination of sand and glass. Hard to resist though.
