  1. I really struggle with Henry ever since he went on an unhinged rant on EEI about the Crawford signing. I'm happy for his $$$ and he's put the right people in management. He's just one weird dude.
  2. San Diego is a great place to play. Beautiful ball park. Great weather. Surrounding area is one of the nicest places in the nation. Plus, if you have a s***** year, you won't have to deal with much media fallout.
  3. @JeffPassan BREAKING: Free agent star Manny Machado has agreed to a deal with the San Diego Padres, league sources tell ESPN.
  4. This post owes royalties to Curly Haired Boyfriend.
  5. I'm still unsure as to why anyone would care about championships that occurred before you became a fan...
  6. We do know that we're never ever going to stop arguing about Lester leaving.
  7. But we'll never know for sure or something...
  8. This has been my reaction every year since 2012 when the Yanks stopped winning the division.
  9. https://mlb.nbcsports.com/2015/07/01/bobby-bonillas-isnt-the-only-deferred-money-deal-in-the-game-and-isnt-even-the-worst/ A brief list of players being paid deferred money. Not sure if players are still allowed to do this under the new CBA.
  10. Yup, it's iffy if he wins comeback player of the year or MVP.
  11. Well, I figured he saw several doctors. I just wonder if either the Sox or Pedey were bigger proponents of the surgery. If the Sox wanted the surgery and Pedroia regrets it, it could cause issues later on.
  12. The Orioles rotation is a thing of beauty.
  13. The good thing about Wright being in the pen is that you can keep him out of weather related situations (i.e. whenever it's wet) and not have to worry about messing with the rotation. I'm not a huge Wright supporter as that knuckleball hasn't sold me.
  14. He probably shouldn't have had the surgery then. Wonder who pushed for it?
  15. IMO, this just isn't true at all.
  16. I've never said I wasn't a nobody.
  17. I'm attacking you for you posting a tweet from a source that isn't credible no matter how much you want it to be.
  18. @PeteAbe Per Alex Cora, the Sox plan to use Steven Wright only as a reliever. For his career, Wright has a 2.99 ERA in 31 relief appearances and 4.00 in 44 starts. But this is more about what they thinks works best given his knee woes.
  19. Don't even ask about the Daily Telegraph claim... LOL. What a nobody. I think we should raise $75 so that moon can be an IBWAA member.
  20. Coming up with nada on the Fox Sports claim.
  21. Working for MASN? Daniel Clark blogs about the Orioles at The Big Leagues Daily from Melbourn, Australia. Follow him on Twitter: @TBLDaily. His thoughts on the O’s appear here as part of MASNsports.com’s continuing commitment to welcome guest bloggers to our little corner of cyberspace. All opinions expressed are those of the guest bloggers, who are not employed by MASNsports.com but are just as passionate about their baseball as our roster of writers.
  22. All you have to do is google Dan Clark's name to see what a nobody is and how he's just made stuff up all offseason for publicity.
  23. https://www.nbcsports.com/chicago/white-sox/one-writer-says-manny-machado-set-join-yankees-though-no-one-else-has-confirmed This guy said back in December that he's heard Machado is going to NYY. Two months later... crickets. Sounds like a great source!
  24. https://ibwaa.com/ Must be really hard to be an IBWAA member? The IBWAA seeks neither to replace nor disparage the BBWAA, but does offer distinctions. While the BBWAA requires ten years and hundreds of dollars of paid membership for writers to earn a Hall of Fame vote, the IBWAA has no waiting period, with a $75 lifetime fee. Oh!
