Ok, but this wasn't the 85-92 original replay system (2-3 replays per game). It was after it was re-rolled out in 1999. The past few years, the replays have been about 1.5 per game. Is your problem the reviewing of all turnovers and scoring plays? Did this happen in the past 5 years?

Ok? He hired DD to spend. He hired Bloom to get back under lux tax and then... We don't truly know what the plan is? How much will or won't they spend?

I disagree that he wants to be smart about spending. He didn't step in and stop the CC contract. He allowed both Hanley and Panda to sign on virtually the same day.

Yeah, the stuff has to be absolutely electric to get by on 2 pitches. Sale can't do it.

Yeah, the Sox paid a premium to bring JD in. It worked out well though.

It 100% depends on the pitcher. If a guy has 4 pitches and can save some looks for the 3rd and 4th time through the order, fine. If a guy has shown you everything his has in the first 2 AB's, get him out of there.

Disagree. He signed the CC deal and stated after that he didn't agree with it. He signed Pablo and Hanley for dumb money.

He seems to be a very good leader and a mentor to Raffy. I don't know enough about Semien to comment if he is that way too.

I prefer Bogey to Semien. Semien was really good in 2019 and 2021, but Xander has been consistent every year starting in 2015. Semien's career started off very slow and is 2 years older than Xander.

Baez is a good player. Bogaerts is a criminally underrated player EVEN IN HIS HOMETOWN.

You could get Kikuchi for $10M, but I think you'd be better off going elsewhere.

Landscape is changing. We'll see when the $$$ follows. I just don't see the course correcting happening this fast.

The only football that is better in person is if you are at a top tier division 1 college game with a good crowd.

We'll have to see. I think starters will still get paid the same. I think the middle relievers are just seen as fungible assets that a team can burn through.
