    Alex Speier of The Boston Globe reports that Chris Sale (ribs) will make another rehab start for the Red Sox' Florida Complex League affiliate later this week. Speier adds that Sale will then head to one of the Red Sox' full-season affiliates, likely either Double-A Portland or Triple-A Worcester, to continue his rehab assignment next week. The 33-year-old left-hander, who is working his way back from a stress fracture in his right ribcage, is expected to make his season debut at some point in July.

    Saying that you are mad that Houck won't be able to pitch in TOR and should get vaccinated to help the team isn't political. That's fine. If someone else says that they don't care if he pitches in TOR, that's fine too. There's just a lot of other nonsense that I've seen posted over the last 18 hours that will derail this discussion. That's all.

    @SoxProspects Inmer Lobo pitching line- 4 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 5 K. The 18-year-old lefty has 0.69 ERA over 13 innings with 18 strikeouts to two walks for the DSL Red Sox Blue this season.

    @ChrisCotillo Two Jeter Downs thoughts: 1) It's expected to be a very short stint with Arroyo and Kiké both nearing activation. 2) MLB rules dictate teams had to get to 13 pitchers and 13 position players today. So Red Sox had to cut a pitcher (Norwood DFA).
