    The last 3 might look rough. That's fine though. I think the Sox have eaten a lot of money recently and have still been able to be competitive. It would be the you pay to have Raffy/Xander/Mookie together for 2017-2032. It would be a magical 15 years though and one that Sox fans would look back on fondly.

    From yesterday: @SoxProspects Miguel Bleis went 3-for-5 with a double (6), two home runs (3), and three RBI (14) in today's 8-1 FCL Red Sox victory. The 18-year-old centerfielder is slashing .280/.326/.512 over 89 PA this season. You can take or leave FCL stats, but it's nice to see Bleis show some of the pop that people have talked about. He may get a call up to Salem before the year is up.

    Interesting that he's top 100, but SoxProspects has him ranked 8th. They are slightly down on him due to his hit tool and question if he's going to be able to make contact long term. If he's just JBJ, that's still a good prospect, IMO.

    I've had a good two year run of not getting it. I don't know how long I'll go before it'll come home. If it does, it'll most likely come home from the kids' school. I just hope it's a very inopportune time for work and that I just don't happen to have my laptop on me. Oops.

    His "injury plagued" 2021 was a 3.5 fWAR season. Sounds pretty good to me.

    I spent the last two weeks in the real world on vacation with my family. It was horrible. Advanced stats is where it's at.

    I don't remember too many people being up in arms about Ellsbury. I think we all knew the injury concerns and it played out that way. Manny forced his way out of town. Sox couldn't prevent that. We were all more mad at Manny than the Sox. I'm not sure either of those statements have changed over time.

    Betts' 150 wRC+ would look good in RF this year.
