Smart trade, SFOC. I was trying to get Andrus myself and had offered Rasmus for him straight up. You would have been better off, redsoxrules, if you had traded with me. Oh well.

Agreed. Turner could wind up being more of an impact player right away, but Wall's ceiling is much higher.

Thames is a pretty big liability in the outfield. No range, takes bad routes, has trouble judging the ball off the bat. All I can say is thank you, Thames and Joba, for giving this game away.

I seriously doubt that was the hardest he could go after the ball. Color me skeptical. Playing requires skill. Effort only requires effort.

Was at the Cubs game. First walk-off HR I've ever seen - and it was in extra innings. Very exciting.

As I recall, they lost the first two games of the series. It definitely wasn't a sweep. And, by the way, I'm not knocking Wade. He's my favorite player in the post-Jordan era.

This is an interesting discussion, but I would say LeBron is a much better all-around player than Durant. And while I agree that LeBron did have a decent supporting cast this year (particularly the bench depth), the starters that Kobe plays with are superior to the starters that LeBron plays with. That's indisputable. The one thing I really don't like about LeBron is the crab dribble move. If that's not traveling, I don't know what is. Durant is a scoring machine, and I don't think anyone expected OKC to do what they did this year. I give Durant and Westbrook all the credit in the world for the turnaround. To me, Durant is a more athletic version of Nowitzki. LeBron is the total package. Kobe is also the total package, but like I said before he has lost a step.

Big trade. Extremely one-sided with the pitchers being dealt. Santana and K-Rod for Pavano and Hoffman? WTF. Voted against it.

Down by 2 SBs. Normally, starting Bourn would have been automatic, but I'm trying to pull away in total bases and Bourn's career numbers against Lincecum were atrocious coming into day. Also hadn't swiped a bag in awhile. 1-3 with 2 BBs, 3 SBs, 1 run scored later and FML.

Neshek, Mijares, and Nathan are on the DL. Gardenhire's bullpen is decimated. A little unfair to pin this on him.

Never been there. It seems very wide open. There's a pretty good chance you'll see some HRs.
