I strongly disagreed with you about comparing Kobe to MJ, but this perfectly encapsulates how I feel. I give Kobe credit. He would never "pussy out" like this. His competitive nature is far more like MJ's than LeBron. They asked McHale if Bird would have ever considered playing with Magic to win a championship. He politely and in a roundabout way said no. NWIH he would have, IMO.

Has Gom checked out? He hasn't updated his roster at all this week. Didn't use Johan or Latos or Hunter. And Latos and Hunter had very favorable matchups. Not that I'm complaining. I should easily beat him in Ks, quality starts, ERA, and WHIP now. I simply won't use another starter this week. Might be time to freeze his team, SFOC.

Could have been the heir to His Airness... how disappointing. I think Carmello will join the Knicks next season. He and Amare and a few other pieces could make some noise. I hope they do because I will not be rooting for LeBron.

I think they've shown a lot resourcefulness so far. Their schedule for the rest of the month isn't too bad. Even with the depleted roster, they should be able to take 2 out of 3 against Toronto and Oakland. They also have four games against Seattle, so that's nice. If they can split the 4 games against Texas, they should be in good shape. -

So, I've got 2 very good catchers now, and I really only need 1 of them. If you want Posey to plug in at a position where most of you get almost no production, I'm open to offers.

f***. Can't believe I'm saying this, but if this actually goes down, I may find myself rooting for Kobe to take care of business against this embarrassment of riches team. LeBron will never be considered the GOAT if he can't win a championship as the clear front man. Like I said, it's possible that the Heat will still be Wade's team.

Bulls fans would embrace LeBron. Comparisons to MJ are inevitable, but no one would realistically expect him to win 6. Staying in Cleveland is stagnation. They're not going anywhere. They're a team that wins 60+ games during the regular season only to get embarrassed in the playoffs. I don't see how the Knicks are a better option than the Bulls. At all. They're about to lose David Lee. Now, they have Amare. Big deal. Their roster still sucks overall. And they don't play defense. Mike D'Antoni has never stressed defense. The only team I'm afraid of is Miami. The thing is, though, if he goes there it's probably still Wade's team. LeBron would have to share the spotlight. Garnett was willing to do that. I'm not convinced LeBron is. If he comes to Chicago, it's automatically his team.

Come on, LeBron. Rose, Noah, and now Boozer. Plus, Gibson is solid. Wade and Bosh are teaming up in Miami. This shouldn't be a difficult decision.

Are you saying Buchholz has been better this year than Lester? Because Lester beats him in just about every metric. Buchholz has been better on the road, but other than that...

I don't believe Wade's open-mindedness for a second. I think it's a ploy. However, there is a very real possibility that LeBron will sign with the Bulls. So exciting. It'll be a HUGE letdown if he doesn't come here now.
