I can't believe Jered Weaver and Felix Hernandez didn't make the All-Star team. That is a travesty. This rule where every team needs a representative needs to go.

Looks like Carlos Marmol might've been traded to Cincy for Chris Heisey. Leave it to Jim Hendry to trade a lights out closer when there is no clearcut replacement for a rookie OF to create an even bigger logjam out there. Earning his paycheck one bad move at a time.

Couldn't have known at the time, but losing Saito really threw a monkey wrench into the bullpen. Craig Breslow might be a good option. He's been nails this year, and he has a very good track record.

I'm aware. But I don't see how a prospect can be untouchable when he is doing so poorly. I think some of you are too in love with this guy. Hype does not equal success.

Untouchable? He's gotten lit up in AA. 14 starts, 5.05 ERA, 1.614 WHIP, 11.2 H/9, 3.3 BB/9. Right now, he's like the pitching equivalent of Lars Anderson.

Versteeg is gone now, too. My favorite player on the Hawks. f*** Stan Bowman. Dale Tallon doesn't get nearly enough credit for the job he did here; he was the true architect of their success. Stan is no Scotty, that's for sure.

Um, no they didn't; that's what Zambrano said. One of the worst spin jobs I've ever seen, too. It was pretty obvious that he was out of control. Be a man and own up to your insanity, Zambrano.

They don't have any other lefties, and Thornton is nails, so I'm guessing it's not going to happen. But Kenny Williams likes to make moves. The Sox could probably get Putz or Santos. Maybe even Jenks.

For the record, Uggla has never played in the OF in the Majors. The last time he played in the OF was 2004.
