In defense of Kouzmanoff, he's played at Petco and the Oakland Coliseum. His career line on the road is .272/.315/.461 for an OPS of .776. He definitely has a little pop and has become a good defensive third baseman. My biggest problem with him is his inability to take a walk.
To me, Kouzmanoff would be a stopgap last resort guy if the Sox couldn't sign Dunn, Lee, Konerko, or Berkman to play first.
