  1. So I guess the "surprise" was the Pats only getting a 2nd rounder?
  2. It's only gonna be a 2 year deal if that. This is the NFL, they can cut him whenever. If it's Cassel and Vrabel for on a 2nd rounder I will be semi disappointed.
  3. Interesting
  4. I had a feeling they didn't want the 3rd pick. If I had to guess what the surprise was, I'd say Gonzalez is coming to NE along with Picks. Or maybe next years 1st round choice.
  5. KC is the youngest team in the league. He brought in a LB to add a veteran quality. And a young already groomed QB. Don't know about you but I'm not sold on Stafford or Sanchez. And there isn't too many other great options out there.
  6. I'm guessing a 1st and 4th this season, and a 4th next season for Vrabel/Cassel.
  7. The Vikings should look into bringing Jeff Garcia into camp.
  8. It's not a move, but it's a minor note. Thought it was interesting Pedro had any desire to return to Boston. But he probably pitch anywhere about now. If they didn't already have Penny and Smoltz, I'd say give him a shot. It relatively low risk depth move. But with what the team has now, I can't blame them for Passing. Question is though, what if he looks really good in the WBC?
  9. I'm not sure who I see Cassell going too. KC, TB, Minn, SF are the teams I hear/read the most. SF seems like an ideal fit to me. O'Sullivan and Smith are not the answer for their QB issues. Minny just traded for Sage Rosenfels. Which is a horrible idea. Minny is not that far away from being a top contender in the NFC. But they screwed themselves last season with the T. Jackson debacle. Now they try and fix it with Rosenfels... KC is a logical choice, but their 1st pick is really high, and I don't see the Pats wanting to give out that kind of coin to a rookie. TB might be a good option, if they don't mind recieving part of their compensation next season.
  10. The Patriots Defense is slow and Old. I have a ton of respect for what they have accomplished, but it's time to clean house and re-up. The Taylor signing is nice insurance. Gaffney will not be impossible to replace. There clearing up space under the cap for sure. But Wilfork's deal is coming up shortly, so he will eat up most of that. Or he might be traded as well and replaced in the draft. LB and S should be their top concerns come draft day, as it seems they are not likely to make and big splash on current FA players.
  11. Haynesworth Signs 7/100M deal with Washington. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3939011 Washington has also resigned DeAngelo Hall.
  12. I know weird huh? I know you where just poking fun, but I was mostly referring it to our members who live abroad. But we do have baseball here LOL I know I have to make one trip to Amsterdam during the season, so there's at least 1 Baseball team there. And most clubs have multiple teams depending on how many classes there in. I was actually surprised to see the number of adult baseball leagues here. Although of course none of them are Major league teams;)
  13. Good God man that's a lot of tickets:lol:
  14. The National may be in contention for worst record in baseball. That's about it.
  15. I listen the The Herd and I like him. I find him entertaining. The guy is money for College football too.
  16. I found it funny when one of the guys on the broadcast called him " The Youk-ah"
  17. The San Diego Padres- I don't consider them to be an underdog, unless they have to sell off everyone. The San Fransisco Giants- Giants have strong pitching, if they can pull together a lineup they will be in there. The Washington Nationals - Hahaha The Seattle Mariners - The Baltimore Orioles - No chance The Kansas City Royals- They are starting to put together a nice team(there more like TB then any other choices) The Pittsburgh Pirates- Hahaha no chance The Cincinatti Reds - Good young talent, tough division The Oakland Athletics - Oakland always seems to hang around Other (Tigers, Braves, et cetera. I only have ten options) Tigers are not an underdog, more like under achievers, Braves are ok, but they have to go threw Philly and NY, plus its about that time for Florida's every 6th year title run.
  18. There a long shot for sure. But I picked them because there less obvious then some of the other teams.
  19. Since I got MLBTV I have been very happy with it. I watch far more games now then I ever did before. And I never have to worry about blackouts either.
  20. If I'm not mistaken, I think if you had a subscription to mlbtv last season, they usually let you watch spring training. They did last season. I guess I better go see before the game starts
