Your an idiot if you don't know the difference between 4 months and 6-8 weeks. SI.com reporting 6-8 weeks. Ease back on Gran Pappys cough medicine But if he is out for 4 months, yes that is an issue. But I'm not really sure where you got 4 months from?

Couldn't find the other thread about him. But I watched his outing against China. Kid has got some really nice pitches. Kind of looks weird with no wind up, but it seems to work for him. Will be interesting to see if they post him at the end of this season.

No I don't think MLB wants to publicly suspend AROD. For the most part, the worst PR is over. MLB is trying to move on. If the publicly suspend him it will just drag everything back to the front pages, and put MLB in the spotlight again for something they'd rather not be in it for. It's kind of like the conspiracy like David Stern actually suspended MJ for that year and a half for his gambling, instead of MJ retiring. Listen I'm not going to fight for this theory tooth and nail. It was just an observation on my behalf. 1. Arod has meeting with MLB 2. Leaves DR WBC team 3. Now has a cyst that need to be removed, and will be out 10 weeks? I know I'm not doc, but how long does it take to recover from getting a cyst removed? And wouldn't have it been better to have it removed during the offseason. Or did it just pop up this week? Is there a doctor in the house for my questions?

JG would be a nice short term replacement for Gaffney. Ramsey would be a solid pick up for the Pats. I was in DC when he first broke into the league. The kid has talent, but like a lot of young QB's was rushed into action and he got absolutely beaten to death. It was so pathetic to watch the kid took so many hits that first season.

Anyone else see this AROD story about him getting a cyst removed and will be out 10 weeks? http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=3954457 This comes a little too close to his MLB meetings, I think this a suspension, masked as an injury so it doesn't grab even more headlines. (adjusts tin foil hat)

Cowboys will take a 9M cap hit for the 09 season for cutting TO. It must have been a lot worse then most have reported.

Jets won't be interested. The new coaching staff is bringing in Defensive players. I don't see TO as a fit. Look for Tennessee, Washington, and maybe the Saints to be in on him.

I wouldn't be surprised to see him struggle like Buchholz did after they "tweaked" him. But theres no reason to think he can't get back to being the big time prospect he was a couple years ago.
