Thankfully, it doesn't hurt today.
This is my lucky Yankee outfit. 5-1 in the post-season at home. Gray hoodie, Tex jersey, light brown jacket, jeans. If you see a homerun out there again, there I will be.
Honestly, I was afraid someone would bump me and it would hit me in the body. No one was even close to me. I should have had it, no excuses, but oh well.
Not many people can catch a 400 foot laser barehanded in the cold and rain. I didn't.
Let me tell you what really sucks.
Not only did the Yankees lose the game....but Utley's second homerun...I dropped it. No one around me, but he hit a laser, and it went off my hands. Watch the replay, I'm the one in the light brown jacket and the gray hoodie.
f***.
You lost any credibility when you didn't list 1986 and 2004. Along with 1991, they are the most riveting World Series matchups of my lifetime. I also put 1996 in there, considering how the Braves were unbelievable favorites. 1977 gave us Mr. October.
Money has nothing to do with fandom. I'm hoping it goes seven games and they win, so I can not only see a championship but max out my profits.
Money, my dear boy, makes the world go 'round.
This is actually stupid but, I like the personal attacks. Gives the board more life.
Swisher's salary is 5.3 million. His cost to the Yankees is approximately 7 million due to salary cap issues. They are both right in making their case. Move along.
It's all in fun, yeszir. I only poke fun at the people I consider friends here. You have to try to differentiate between personal attacks and people having fun with each other.
Oh, Dipre...you may have graduated college, but down there, that's equivalent to passing 8th grade up here.
Oh by the way...degrees by mail don't count buddy.
Don't worry. After the World Series, I'll type up my primer for the Yankees AND the Red Sox.
Seeing how right I have been over the years...all I write is all you need to know. [Hint: 90% of the time, I wait to see what Jacko writes, and then I predict the opposite. The other 10% is my own thinking. I'm right 95% of the time].
