While tapping on this phone blows, I've gotta weigh in on one thing. The Yankee medical staff buttf***ed the Tex issue. Recovery for the surgery he requires is 4-6 months. I get they didn't want to commit to that, but throwing him out there isn't one of those 'well, he can't hurt it worse' situations like Pedroia has. He can hurt it worse, he could rupture the tendon entirely, which would be potentially career devastating. As it stands, that hasn't happened, but Jose Bautista was the example of why the surgery needed to happen in March. The guy tried to come back last yr to no avail. If Tex was operated on in March, there'd be a good chance he'd return before the playoffs and possibly as early as August. Instead, they f***ed around with 'rehabbing it' then shoved the ******** line of how he was 100% pain free and forced him to avoid swinging a weighted bat as a countermeasure and now we have a 1b who is still in pain and still needs the procedure required in March and now we're looking at a completely lost season. The issue spurring this rant is a comment from Cashman about Tex still having pain today in the wrist. Fix the f***ing thing and put this issue to bed. If they try to rehab him again, he's risking tearing the tendon completely
