  1. Back to Back JACKS!! TIE GAME!!
  2. Buchholz sucks, trade him now!!!/sarcasm. Needless to say, he doesn't have the velo he had last season, and therefore he isn't as likely to go on a run of dominance. But, when he locates like he did tonight, he's tough to beat
  3. This offense is brutal
  4. Betances' stuff is absolutely filthy. 26K in 14.2IP is insane
  5. I know they want to support Remy with how much he has meant to the fan base. But the guy misses tons of time due to health issues and now this. It has to be a distraction for him, personally and it will be in the news every day.
  6. I'm not sure, to be totally honest
  7. Nuno got f***ed out of 2 runs because Ells lost the ball in the sky. Would be a tie game, oh well
  8. Maybe they should look for a guy who didn't raise a murderer
  9. I see, man, the lingo is getting past me a bit
  10. So the fact the sox have no lead-off hitter is Farrell's fault?
  11. Nuno lost it after Ells lost the ball in the sky.
  12. Ells loses an easy out in the sky and Longo gets a gimme 1 out triple. f***
  13. FF, take a chill pill. Farrell may take a page out of Francona's let em play book, but what he did last yr was nothing short of remarkable. To go after the manager on May 2 is asinine
  14. I don't blame them, but they could do so once Pineda is back
  15. As much as the panic makes my heart sing and my blood pressure lower, guys, it's May 2nd and you're 3 games out. If June comes and you are 10 games out, let the tears flow and the gnashing of teeth begin.
  16. I am intrigued to see the Yankees screw up this rotation right now. With the off day, Tanaka could go tonight on full rest and then be able to go again to finish off the Anaheim series before another off day. Instead, he's going to get 5 days rest before tomorrow's start and his following start. He's our ace, time to play him like one. That being said, Nuno has been pretty good for us in the rotation (9.1IP 8H 3ER 4BB 10K) although he's been limited to 70 pitches both times. Probably looking at 80-85 tonight
  17. I wonder what embarrassment tastes like. Can someone ask a red sock for me please?
  18. Pedroia's injury history? He missed 87 games in 2010 due to a foot fracture. Since then, he's had a multitude of little injuries and one big one that he played 160 games through and put up a 6.5WAR. The last 3 seasons, he has played 460 games, or an average of 153 games per season. His "injury" history is practically null and void compared to most everyone else. Also, keeping someone as insurance for a pretty durable player is a good way to diminish the value of the prospect. Betts is a starting 2b quality prospect. Teams will be lining up for him.
  19. It is a pigpile. I am just a little underwhelmed with our offense right now, should we figure that out and guys play to their career norms, we would have the best one.
  20. I agree rj. You have a guy who won an MVP at 2b on a lengthy contract who is in the middle of his prime. He isn't going anywhere. You have an All-World prospect in Bogaerts who they're going to give a long leash to. Your 3b is Middlebrooks for the forseeable future, and his power from that position is more prototypical than the speedy guy Betts is, even though he is showing power early on as well. He's blocked. So either he gets dealt or Bogaerts/Pedroia/Middlebrooks are dealt. And I don't see that happening.
  21. Annoyed with the O again. We have to heat up in May
  22. Victimized by the big inning again. It's like he just loses focus. Also, Pineda out 3-4 weeks with a mild lat strain
